IIRC, Bubba didn't want to enter ReMax for fear that working on hitting the ball for distance would mess up his timing. For a guy who has focus issues, it makes sense that he would want to focus just on the golf, since he's there to try to win a major.

I don't see why it would be an issue, other than maybe the author isn't a Bubba fan, and thus would be less than objective. This is not a big deal as I see it.

I was getting my tomato pots ready for the this year and I did one wrong move and went down. Couldn't walk for 2 days. Had to get 3 nerve blocks and still couldn't play for 2 weeks.

As far as the videos, it's a promotion, he's working. When I have a crowd around me I swing a bit harder and if there is a Long Drive marker out there I, for some odd reason, swing totally different than normal.

The football field... not sure what was going on there... but again, it's a different atmosphere.

Well, he is hated on WRX because we have a deeper knowledge of the guy than the casual fan at the PGA. He should do [i]everything[/i] for the fans since they are the reason why he is not a poor weirdo living in a trailer

Yes, the "hate" on Bubba is based on the same things of the "love" or "hate" for any other player, it's based on personal opinions about a golfer's behaviour

Im not a Bubba fan, but I chuckle at threads and articles like this. When majors roll around, a lot of guys dont want to be bothered with anything other than what they need to do to prepare for the tournament. They already go through things like mandated media time, sponsor get-togethers, etc.

I don't root against a player, even when they are my opponent in a tournament or a match. But it is hard to root for Bubba. And I am a lefty that plays all Ping equipment. What this demonstrates I think, is how fragile Bubba's psyche is. His thing is "Bubba Long" and if he isn't the longest at the long drive tournament he perceives some ridicule, like "Bubba Not Long Enough". The G30 is being marketed big time right now. Ego, ego, ego.

I don't have a problem with what he said. I like Bubba more than I dislike him, however I do think he tends to do or say stuff just to get a rise out of people. And it works, there are many that don't care for him.
