I purchased the 745s with Modus3 125 shafts for no upcharge. I believe the 125s and 105s are at the same price point. Srixon was (maybe still?) With no up charge fee for any steel shaft and any grip.

 

You may want to try pricing a set (half of the steps of ordering) from their site to see if there is an up charge or not.

Me too. Wanted to order a second set with Modus 105's but now may as well just re-shaft my current set. I don't actually understand why the no up-charge promotion wouldn't apply to Canada. We're paying the equivalent value for the clubs anyway, so what difference does it make?

They are awesome irons, so not too much persistence required. The only other set I've been tempted by are the new Hogan's but they are out of my price range....for now.

Spent the last few hours hitting my 745 with some friends on a simulator playing closes to the pin and gaping my iron distance with the CG2 simulator.These are beautiful looking iron and really fun to hit.Cant wait for snow to melt.

Shot my PB with these irons yesterday, 36/37-73. I have never had such a good ball striking round with any iron set I have ever played, it was the most fun I have had on the course in a long time. Been playing 3-pw with 5.5 flighted shafts after pulling KBS Tour 120s and the lighter shaft is a great fit for me. Was playing 50, 54, 58, but dropped the 54 for now as the 50 seems pretty verstile... Dare I say the bag is set??

Just received word from my club fitter that my Z745s have arrived. Excited to hit the whole set with the Modus 130 S. I'll let you guys know how it goes. I sure loved the few irons I hit for the fitting with this shaft.

Jayzus! I just went and had a look. Multiple times imploring posters to get that thread count up over this one? That is just fooking sad and pathetic. There is no 'trying to be funny' in that.

They finally arrived!! Love the ballfight and I am pumped about the yardage gaps I am gonna get. With my old set (TM TP MC) and KBS Tour V shaft I was hitting my P wedge 155 yards and I didn't like that at all. With these irons I am flying my P wedge 135 yards right were I want it to be. Cant say enough about how smooth the Nippon 130 S irons are!! Give these shafts a go if you are a steep swinging digger / low ball hitter, it will sort you out!!.

 

Cant wait to get these on some real turf and experience the V-sole turf interaction. It's a long winter up here in Canada and we are hitting off mats still. Hit a bucket full of rock hard range balls (as you can see from the face impact on the first pic, don't worry I cleaned them after ha) this afternoon when I picked them up and still felt great.
