srixon 745's WOW!!!!!!

I almost went the Px 5.5 but ended up with the Kbs tour stiff.3 weeks is a long wait for a new set of clubs. Cant wait to try them out .

 

I originally got mine with the KBS Tour 120 stiffs... great feeling shafts but they were heavier than what I had been playing which was the PX 5.5 flighted shafts... I had them laying around so I pulled the KBS and put the 5.5 in and they changed everything for me with the 745s. I am in love with these irons, first time in a long time I have NO urge to try something else. PX are giving me a little higher flight as opposed to the KBS Tours.

I hit the PX 5.5 in my friends ping anser irons and did like the feel.I played the Kbs tour R+ in my ap1 but still felt a nice toque feeling with the Kbs tour stiff shaft.The club felt a bit heavier, but when I check the web site I think stock was d3 sw.The extra weight seems to be helping me with my tempo although I have only hit a 7 iron into a simulator.Very hard to find stores that carry Srixon clubs.

they are a heavier head. standard is D3 and shouldn't be too heavy but if u go extra length they can be very heavy. I was at +.75" and had to come down to +.5". Its better at d6 but may come down to +.25". If you like a lighter clubhead the srixons aren't your club, its thick chunk of metal and you feel it

Got my golf digest this month and it had the "Hot List" and no Srixon irons made the cut....you have got to be kidding me?! Now I'm convinced that these manufacturers pay for the spotlight in these mags...pure craziness...these irons are money all day

they probably won't even make the list just because of the "demand" factor that golf digest puts on there. It's not soley about looks and performance.

on a side note, i sold my z745s w/ s300 and have them w/ 6.0 PX on the way. Can't wait!

I think they were gold list last year. This is the second year of a 2 year cycle so they are not considered new for 2016 and will drop off lists. Still the best irons out there, I tested everything.

Not that it matters, but that's just last year's list with 2016 incorrectly above it as far as I can tell. If you go to the 2016 Hot List from the main page, the list of irons is different.

My 745/945's are coming this week and I can't wait. Nicest feeling irons I have ever hit and smash factor was up with these as well. Hoping I see the 1 club distance on the course I was seeing on trackman.

I don't see how you hate the v sole and love the rest? The sole to me on any club has so much to do with how much I like or dislike.

I wouldn't be insulted by that J40 comment, those irons are amazing!!! Plus, like Wolf said, the design seems to be making it's way around the design lab. Don't hate on them, just get a set cause you know you want some.

Didn't TM steal the slot line on sole from Adams and instead of paying the lawsuit they purchased Adams? Can anyone verify this or has heard of this?
