I think I need to remove myself from this thread. I seem to be getting packages from Amazon everyday lol. Thanks for the post. I just received 2 more boxes of the white supersofts the other day....was going to get yellow but the white was on sale so I bought that. Now the yellows are on sale and the whites went back up to original price....so I just ordered 2 boxes of the yellows.

Ordered some Supersoft yellows too! Great deal. I found one of these balls on the course the other day and finished my round with it. Soft feel and just as long as any other ball I've used. Didn't get a chance to judge spin but it has a urethane cover so I expect it will spin plenty.

Supersofts have a surlyn cover. I think you are thinking of the Chrome Soft balls.

I didn't think they did too bad at holding. I couldn't one hop stop it like a pro v but with a full wedge and normal greens it was a bite and trickle 5 or 6 feet here. Much less spin on 10 - 50 yard pitches. Similar to most balls in the 20 to 25 dollar range. As always YMMV.

If these were the same price as the woot I would stock up. I've been trying a lot of golf balls lately (sr3, b330, pro v1x, z star xv, fg tour x, lethal, hex black tour) and the lethal and fg tour x are as good as they get (for me)

I'm still hoping someone decides to dump their stash of lethals on the BST (though I know I wouldn't be the only one interested, not by a long shot)

Funny story about ball spin around the greens... I once asked a former PGA pro if I should look for a ball with more spin... in return he asked me... "Why? Are you hitting or passing that many pins with your shots?" Had to laugh... in his very cunning way he knew the answer was that more times than not I am a bit short of the pin on the green
