Luckily, sense (I don't NEED 480 of these tees...one lasts me a couple rounds before I lose it) and I had something "saved for later" that was 10 bucks...
Sorry you missed it. I just typed epoch tees after the first guy's post was back to full price and look through. There are still a couple options for less than 4 bucks a box. One that's dual color bands (white and yellow), which I like, since it makes it a tiny bit easier to use the bands at a quick glance...

I've been with prime forever as well, and when its not a free returns item, they let me print out a label and then just deduct the cost from my refund. Not so bad considering that their postage rates are miles better than anything that I would be able to get on my own.

People who are willing to sign up for a credit card to save 70 bucks are not too concerned about their credit rating. They will still also get the credit for another purchase. Expecting any type of compensation is unrealistic.

Because golf items must be a miniscule fraction of a miniscule fraction of one tiny percent, I can see why Amazon wouldn't care if they annoy a bunch of their customers in this and other golf item deals.

I definitely DO NOT think that Amazon is intentionally trying to get a few hundred people to apply for their credit card. It is purely an accidental by-product of their mishandling of this situation. Nonetheless, it will affect people's credit history irreparably, and I think it warrants a conversation with Amazon about it. I greatly value the importance of my credit score and my personal and financial privacy, and so this struck me as a problem.

I just picked up a few packs of the Epoch-S3 plastic tees on Amazon. They were 40 packs with a mix of 30 long and 10 short tees. They were "add on" items and ran about 3 bucks each. I was ordering something else already so they were a good addition and I should be set for a while. Just search amazon and you should be able to find them (sorry I don't have a link handy). Actually, if you get the credit card and never use it, that will help everyones credit score. One of the factors in which your credit score is calculated by the amount of money you can go into debt vs the amount of money you owe. I opened one up last year to get the money off as well. Be very careful though. They will make it your default purchase card at first. My Prime Membership was renewed on it. I paid it off immediately so it didn't cost me anything, but just watch out for that.

Anyway, it's not that harmful as long as you are responsible with credit cards.

Actually, if you get the credit card and never use it, that will help everyones credit score. One of the factors in which your credit score is calculated by the amount of money you can go into debt vs the amount of money you owe. This is true, but there is still a credit hit for two things, (1) the hard pull, and (2) the decrease to your average length of credit accounts. Of course it can be a boon in the long term, as any type of credit account can be. Good points, though.

A friend sent me a groupon for a Samsonite golf trunk organizer for 39.99. Naturally, I checked that against Amazon, which has a similar price until you check the warehouse. The warehouse has these for 20 dollars and some cents. Then of course you get it in a day or two vs you never know when you will get it from groupon. So if you need to organize your golf stuff in your trunk like me, it's a good brand and solid purchase for cheap.

My girlfriend's parents got me one for Christmas. At first I was a bit bummed but man I'm shocked as to how much that thing holds! I got 2 pairs of shoes, 3 dozen golf balls in boxes, 2 shirts, and a few gloves. Plus there's room for a lot more!
