I am being told that my 2 sets (yes, 2... I have problems) will ship either today or tomorrow. Should have them before the weekend. Confirmed by two different CSRs.

Happy I got a set of these. Have read countless reviews on how they're the best irons Adams has ever made but for some reason have never hit them... Whoever gets them first please post the shafts that they came with, curiosity is killing me!

I'm glad I got in on the deal. At best I have a set of clubs to put into my rotation and at worst the shafts don't work for me and I pass along the deal to a fellow WRXer. I do remember trying the CMB with C-Taper and liking them but wasn't in the market for new irons (at the time).

That's awesome. Mine say on the order confirmation that they aren't estimated to ship until the last week of April. Is that what your email originally said too? I would think these should all be coming in around the same time, but I'm not sure.

I was joking about flipping them and it was not meant for profit. IF I went for the fourteen club deal I would just sell the irons for what I paid plus shipping.... only to a WRX of course.

I don't plan to flip mine if they show up, as they are my current sticks and I just want a backup/replacement set. However, a quick look through the listings you linked show some seriously used sets going for $250-300. Why is it so inconceivable that a brand new set with C-tapers would net someone a profit if they're paying $210 up front? Seems like a pretty easy flip if someone is so inclined. Then again, I've never sold on ebay so I'm no expert.

well, after you receive the set, play/try them, if you reaaally don't like them, you can get your $200, or say $150 back. with or without profit, for a brand name pro line clubs this is a great deal. how about $209 for a back up set...think of it that way

I cancelled one after I came to my senses. However, if I were to keep them, maybe give then to a friend or have them as a backup set for visitors from out of town.

You could donate them to a golf charity event as a $1,000 donation.

You could pull the shafts and sell for at least $100, leaving you with brand new forged heads for $109.

You could sell the heads for $100 and have c tapers with new grips for $109.

You could, in a worst case scenario, even use them to play golf.

I plan in on trying them out and just seeing where it goes. For that price, how could you not give them a try!

If I don't get along with the C-tapers, I'll probably pull them and get close to half of my money back and be left with brand new heads to play around with!

I purchased them with every intention of keeping as a back up set. CTaper is my shaft of choice and I play mizzy forged now, so this was a no brainer.


If for some reason I do not like the way they set up, I will donate to a charity auction in town this summer to raise money for youth sports in town.

The blue color is $55-$59 depending on size.

I think a short sleeved rain jacket is possibly the only piece of apparel I don't own, so grabbed one. I like the blue color also, black is full price.

These come from a UK golf store, this is my 4th order from them, takes about 2 weeks to arrive.
