And the spin is not an issue. When I removed the finish from my vr forged wedges and oil can vokeys they had better feel and I noticed no difference in spin when they rusted.

No placebo. Had 2 oil can wedges, one was removed, one wasn't and compared.

I know I'm entitled to my own opinion, I just think these wedges look awful, looks bulky and heavy, would love to test it before I fully knock it off the shelf.

They're ugly but I will say the one photo of the wedges with the rust starting makes them look better.

Rust has zero effect on spin. The only thing spinning less will be head if I ever stop seeing comments like this.

Multiple studies have been done including one by Frank Thomas at the USGA proving rust has zero affect on spin. This is one of the many GOLFWRX myths that are infuriating. Rodger Cleveland is quoted somewhere commenting on the same issue as well when he came out with the RTG wedges years ago.

[/quote]I agree that rust has no effect on spin but there is a definite change in "feel" with raw metal compared to some finishes such as chrome,pvd, etc. Raw metal feels softer to me and its not a placebo.

I was a S400 guy for years. Last year I went with Modus 3 to match the irons and loved them. This year I will be getting the new Modus3 wedge shafts.

Yes the flex and weight the same. The new Modus wedge shafts might end up being a different weight since they don't match the 120's that are 114g.

105 is 111g
115 is 122g
125 is 133g

I was always a S400 guy until Nike sent my Oven wedges with MNNikeguy's shaft selection...the Modus 120s. Not sure I can go back now. If I get Engage wedges...or when...I'll more than likely order with the Modus. Stiff flex.

Nike will get any shaft you want pretty much.
I'm in the same boat. 50 square for sure maybe all three square. Or 58 TS. Maybe 52 square if I don't go with three. I'd like to get three wedges so I can take the 2 iron out on different courses. So really don't know what I'm getting.
