Best 3 wood that you used 10-15 years ago?

I always liked the 2004 Big Bertha series. Still play the 5 wood. V-Steels were pretty great as well.

TM Firesole 13.5 with the bubble shaft...........long and straight

15 years ago my local muni had just opened and for years the fairways were tight lies...the shallow faced Firesole was perfect for such a track....later as the grass grew, fairway woods with a deeper face were more appropriate...but the Firesole got balls off the tight turf and the bubble shaft with that oversize .410 tip was firm, minimizing torque-twist even in the M/senior flex...I still have the whole set.

Pt15 with steel shaft or a 975f COPY which went 10x better than an original. Would still be in the bag now if I didn't cave the face in.

Haven't seen anybody mention the Nike T-40. That was a great 3-wood for me, and young Eldrick had one in his bag for several years.

I've had many of the clubs people are mentioning, but hit none better than my T-40.

980f Strong - S300
VSteel - Project X
SS-02 - S300

Those three battled it out hard for the bag spot. The vsteel and SS-02 were the most consistent but the 980 was the longest. I also had a Royal Collection BBD Type H proto that was stupid long but didn't work in my bag because it was only about 10 yds shy of my driver.

Then the r7TP came out and I put in a Pro95. It was so good, it relegated all of them to the backup bag and ultimately eBay. I still have a r7 TP 5 wood that rotates into the bag every once in a while. Still a great club.
