King Cobra 14 degree circa late 90s, DG steel shaft. Had a pretty deep face...very long, especially off of the tee.

Cleveland quad pro. I rarely carried the 3 wood ( rarely as in a few times) because I carry a four instead but I owned both and was still being them up until a year ago. Could put them back in the back tomorrow and be content.

Also Taylor made 300 tour. Also own the 3 and 4 and they are excellent.

Depending on where in the 10-15 you want to land, Titleist 980, 904, or 906. Mickleson has a 980 that still sneaks into the bag once in a while. Rory played the 906s before Nike threw a quarter of a billion at him.

Two in particular stand out.

The first being a Callaway Great Big Bertha 3+ that on a whim I shafted with a Graffalloy Prolite Reg flex that I tipped the snot out of. The shaft should have never worked but for some strange reason it did. That thing was the most versatile 3 wood I've ever had. If the face hadn't caved I think I'd be gaming it to this day as it's been my experience that 3 woods are the hardest clubs to replace in the bag.

The second was a V-Steel Tour Spoon that I shafted with a Fujikura Pro95. This combo rocked but I couldn't elevate it off of the deck as much as I liked so I decided to tinker with the shaft. In went a Fuji Vista Tour 60 or 65 (I don't remember the weight exactly). This turned out to be a stupid decision and caused a major rift in my relationship with what had otherwise been a solid performer. Then one day I was playing with my brother who wanted to try it. Long story short it's still in his bag and I've told that I'll get it back at the reading of his will and not a second sooner.

I first started playing in 2003 when I was 13, first fairway wood was a Callaway Steelhead III with a Grafalloy ProLite. I had it for a long time, it was awesome.

I would say 1/2 the crowd on here was in pampers, but I played a cally 3+ that was a great stick. Traded it for a driver I don't remember- still miss that 3 wood.

Ping Eye 2 laminate. Still have it, but it's not in the bag. Steelhead 5W is though.

Cally steelhead with EI-70 shaft. The shaft broke and it was never the same. TM v-steel with purple ice was another favorite.

I actually played a Lynx Boom Boom 13 degree with an X100 in it up until about 2008 or so. I hit it consistently every time so I saw no need to change. I was never a fan of the move towards shallow faced 3 woods. That's why I kept it for so long.
