Welp, against my better judgement im not waiting until next year for VFP irons. Just ordered, to go along with my new method origin putter and .......here we are, working on my 3rd bag.

 

Not going to game the VFP for a while, im happy with my 714 AP1's. I will have them fitted with black shafts in the meantime. I love the all black look.

Is this separation normal on this head? Want to sell it but it looks like it's going to have problems. Does Nike still warranty clubs

Warranty should still be good. Heard at some point they would be offering replacements as long as possible, and after that there would be some sort of refund offered if they couldn't replace it.

Looks normal to me.........the fit between the two pieces always seemed a bit sloppy.

I've wanted a set of Vapor Pros since they were first released but never had a chance to try them out. Finally found them at a PGA SuperStore recently but only got a few swings in. I had to pull the trigger. Well today was my first round with them. Absolutely amazing and I have no hesitations kicking the Mizunos out of the bag. I really should have gotten them sooner.

Now i have an opportunity to get the Vapor Pro Combos at an amazing price (swoosh pricing). My vapor fly pro's havent even arrived.

 

Question, if you have the vapor fly pro, are the VPC worth to have?

 

(this is my logical side asking the question. My other side of my brain wants them just to collect them, same side of my brain that caused sneaker collection)

I have the VPC's. They feel better being forged. I do want to try to find some Vapor Pro Forged to compare. Though I know the long irons would take a lot of practice to be consistent.

Definitely not normal, from my experience. Nike replaced my brand new never been hit 440 back in April because of the following. The seem on the driver should look like the right side in the first picture and not the left side lol

I haven't hit my vfp yet, but if you want better feel, Vapor pro is the one to get. From my experience, vfp gives me more distance.

i faced the same problem and in the end, buying a set of forged irons for $300 was too good to pass up.

 

that being said, it's winter now in the pnw and courses are soggy and slow, so i'm having a difficult time telling if it's that or if it's the clubs that i'm not hitting as well. so the jury is still out on if it was worth it. i'm leaning toward yes because they were so cheap to add to the garage.
