What in the world is this? Did Nike do a Limited Edition all black Vapor Fly Pro or is this a custom job?

http://www.ebay.com/...=item4d59173f66

Yes, Nike released a Blackout VF and VFP. They came with a black camo headcover.

total bummer that one comes with the standard blue headcover and not the black camo.

Also, kiiiinda wanna make an offer on this volt driver, i totally forgot they did a volt limited release.

Interesting indeed. I've been leaning more toward Ping before as It was for replacing my Nike sticks when the time comes, even more inclined to if there is Nike tech down the road in the sticks.

I love Ping irons and always seem to go to them if I leave Nike for awhile. Not big on their woods and wedges though.

The patents didn't look to promising!

Actually Nike has a LOT of patents in golf. There is the belief that they bought them for the ball patents and that Ping will start making a ball using them.

let us know how it goes. AF1 feel so heavy to me

Yep, after playing in the Vapor, Zoom 90, Command 2 and flyknit Chukka. These feel like bricks.

Good shoe and grip stability.

Out of those 5, which has the best for ground stability when swinging. I have a swing speed of ~115mph and tend to launch my feet. Bad habit i'm tryna rid and i'd like to feel more ground-to-feet interaction when in motion.

Lunar Control Vapor grip is the real deal. I would choose that one. Works for 80-120+ mph swing speed.

Wow, really surprised by the Vapor response.

After my LC4 purchase last year i realized how bad my TW14s (spikeless) was with ground stability.

Is the Vapor comparable to the LC4?

Sorry guys for the shameless post. I wanted to give all the Nike guys a shot first. I just put two Nike tipped shafts on BST.

It's the real deal!

Sexiest Nike driver ever. drool....

Best driver I've used. Gutted I dented the crown on it. I've retired it now and using the Volt limited edition driver instead.

Thinking to retire that one as well as I will be double gutted if I damage that one.

Got the standard colour heads on the way so will game them and only bring the Volt out for special occasions.

Easy to switch heads on these drivers and keep the same shaft.

I wish the Vapor fly came in black just like the covert 2.0 performance did.

LC4 grip is good but there's something to the Vapor integrated traction. First time I wore the vapors we had to hit off mats on the driving range. They gripped the mat so tight I didn't even move my feet the first few swings. Lol. Took some getting used to.

The main reason I haven't purchased the LCV is because I change my shoes at the car and walk to the clubhouse. Not sure how the shoes and concrete would respond. I don't see that being a good choice espeically since you can't "replace" the spikes on the LCV

Can't speak much for the wear yet, but it's kind of nostalgic walking across concrete with them on. Sounds like you're wearing metal spikes again.

the "spikes" on the LCV are pretty long so I think it would be an issue. You'll probably wear out the uppers before having an issue with them. I have had other shoes with the soft spikes and the other molded spikes on these other shoes are still long enough for grip. I've had to replace the soft spikes, but normally only once before the uppers are done. I haven't worn my LCV's yet - they're white and we play a lot of mud golf up here in the PNW and don't want to get them all muddied - but summer is coming and i'll break them out soon!

Same here. There's no way to wear down those "fins/spikes/cleats" just walking on concrete from to time to time. That's even if you do that much often.

Only way those "spikes" will wear out is if you try to run a marathon in under 2 hours. Then I can see them wearing out.

Also, I'm sure you don't wear the same shoes every time you play. If you rotate shoes often, won't have to worry much about the wearing down issue in the Vapor.

I was thinking over time. I am not a metal spikes guy. LC4 but just thinking long term.

...or wear slides from your car to the pro shop/cart/range/course and change there. Those spikes aren't gonna wear down quickly

If you're really worried listen to this ^

But I've worn mine everyday since release, walking on concrete etc with no issues what so ever and I play ALOT of golf. Most comfortable shoe I've worn.

Just snagged another new engage 58 DS wedge off the bay for $49.99. Gives me 2 new backups. And got 2 new white/gray gloves from Nike clearance sale with bonus 20% off.

MAY keep an eye out for 1 more engage 58 DS for a total of 4 to get me through the life of my irons.

I'm looking out for a 50* SS. If anyone comes across one, shoot me a PM.

Oh man I just saw a Origin B2-01 for a bargain. Someone please talk me out of it I don't need another putter plus I like my current one.

You should just buy it. Won't be another Nike putter ever again.

Might as well get it while the getting it is good.

Couldn't resist making the back up bag Nike again. Vr pro le driver with black tie platinum and vr pro combo cb 4-p pxi 6.5

Best irons ever, move them to the starter role. I've almost bought another set to have a back up, but goes against my minimalist nature.
