Man I can't get over the tour shafts.. I'm a tried and true diamana guy I stuck my normal wb as well as a kuro kage silver tini 60x in this thing and I'm right back to the tour 65x because it just feels great and flat out preforms.

Side note if anyone would like a pretty much new kuro kage with a new grip and g30 adapter shoot me a pm I'll hook you up :)

Yeah, I just re-gripped mine last night and saw on the sticker that these are made by UST/Mamiya. I know the UST guys are on here a bit. Would love to hear their thoughts on these Tour 65/80 shafts in comparison to others.

Got 18 in today, very windy & cool, played with a couple of young guys who had to be back in school by 1:00 pm. One had a new Titleist 915 the other played a SLDR 460, on the first two holes my LST out performed both of them .... woohoo!

I just can't find the words to describe this new driver/shaft combo!

I was fitted last week and I am a low spin guy already. With that being said I fit in the standard g30. I was more consistent with the tour 80 then any other shaft. Played yesterday and the three other guys were blown away and all insisted that they try the driver. They all were blown away how straight this driver was. With this driver I realized my wedge game is horrible.

I suggest that you get fitted. The ls is very low spin and I hear alot of people teeing the ball low to get the most out of it. By being fit I have the entire face height to work with on the course to fit the shot needed.

Bomb away!

I just came back from a mini vacation and as soon as I turn on my phone I received a text saying my driver is in. I can't wait, going to try and get a few range sessions in before I take it out to the field. I have a tee time at Koolina next week and the course should be in tip top condition. Excited to see how this performs.

Well I have to admit this driver is special...really special - in a positive way. I was at the range this afternoon to test it against my SLDR. Tested the Oban Kyioshi Tour Limited and the Talamonti LS in the G30 LS...Boom! The Kyioshi combo make it unreal..! It felt something like cheating. Distance wise the G30 LS and the SLDR are very similar, but the G30 LS just wants to go straight - every time.

As a few said before, the sound is a bit different, not that it is bad but not completly satisfying. If I'm able to hotmelt it or mute it with cotton balls, I'm shure that this driver will stay in my bag for a long long time.

Liking my LST so far, but I will say that I find it a noticeably less forgiving than my standard G30. It isn't a huge difference, but I'm noticing it.

Agreed, best to get fit to see your tendencies. It turned out I hit slightly up on the ball now with driver (not as much as I did last year), so I am a low spin player. I actually need a bit more spin for my swing, but decided to go with the LS instead of the standard G30.

Still very forgiving and night and day from the SLDR I played. I believe any handicap can play this driver with no problems.

I just don't see how Ping can improve on the G30 line.

Other thing I've noticed is that I have to play my LST in the standard loft setting, while I get my best results with the standard G30 in the -1 position.

I did the same exact thing... Both 10.5*. Cranking the standard down yielded pretty similar ball flight to the LS.

I spent some time on the range with mine today and was getting the best results with it tee'd low as well. When the tee height starts creeping up so do the pull hooks or the push fades.

Tee it low I was getting tight draws on the line I was aiming. Nice mid-flight.

I have a 9* dialed back to 8.4 with a Tour 80 in stiff.

Trying to create a wind piercing bomber that rolls out.

Would like to try some other shafts that weren't available at the fitting.
