Best hybrid for 15 hc, buying online, not testing, no brand loyalty,

Buy an unused older Taylormade RBZ. Decent shaft, HOT face, and reasonably forgiving. You can find them cheap too.

You can try used clubs at local stores. The only reason I suggest that is many of them will let you try the club for a time and return it or trade it for another if you don't like it. That way you're not trapped with a club you hate.

But if you're set on buying online, there are tons of options for under 150. I can't remember adams making a bad hybrid, they always seem to perform. Anything a year older or more will probably cost you less than 150. Bst and ebay are full of great deals on used clubs.

Besides being a 15 HDCP It would be helpful to have a little more info to help guide.
Do you own any hybrids now?
If so are you looking to replace them because you don't hit them well?
What is your typical miss? Left or right
Do you struggle in getting the ball up?
What is your typical driver swing speed?

With a little info it will be easier to guide you in the right direction as all hybrids are different. Some help with slices, some get the ball airborne easier because of their center of gravity, some will launch lower and reduce back spin for higher swing speeds. We are glad to help you.

wow, i thought i'd be the only one playing the rescue mids!! i have 19* and 22* in stock graphite shafts.
yes, they are from 2004 (or around there) but who cares if they work so well for me!?!
the distance is a little shorter compared to newer hybrids but theyre forgiving, fly high and land soft on greens.
perfect replacement for 3 and 4 irons.

I play the Rescue Mid 19* and 22* with the Aldila NV shaft. I've tried all the others but the Mids find their way back into the bag.

i like the look of the Adams Red.
Also like the look of some of the Ping hybrids. Not sure about their shafts.
Titleist 910 is well liked. Nice Diamana shafts are stock.
I like the 909h better than the 910 hybrid but I am pretty much alone in this regard. The 910h looks better.
Srixon 545 or 745 look cool. Pricey I would figure.
The Cobra Cell and also Bio are priced to move. Decent shafts too. Kind of bright colored. Not too big.
TM Rbz are long but there's the shaft...lots of choices.

The Cally XR looks terrific.

Adams AS04 22 Degree is the known to be the all time favorite that really gave hybrids their reputation. Many call it the perfect club. $20-30 bucks in Stiff. Get it with the platinum shaft

Callyway Xhot Pro 18 or 20 - Widely played by pro's. $50-60. The green tour shaft in stiff.

Keep the rest in your pocket.

Cleveland 2009 hybrids.... I've been gaming a 2H for 5 years. It's the only hybrids that I don't have a tendency to hook and I can hit any shot with it from 240 off the tee to a 200 yard cut on a par 3. Not too shallow so it's super confidence inspiring with a teed up ball. Super easy to hit off the deck. Absolutely awesome club. I just KNOW that I'm gonna hit a good shot anytime I pull it out of the bag.

 

I've bought about 10 hybrids over the last 5 years trying to upgrade it and it's still in the bag. I finally gave up trying to replace it which is crazy rare for me since I'm a club crackhead. It's by far the longest I've ever gamed a club. You can find them for under $40 on eBay.

I am a 15 hcper as well. Have had real good success with older Cobra hybrids (dws/aldila proto vs shaft and tws/aldila dvs shaft) . Can get these real cheap off ebay. Presently gaming the Cobra Biocell - very easy to hit and can be found for well less than $100. No need to spend $150 for one hybrid, imho.
