Just got this beauty from David. Looks and feels amazing. Can’t wait to take it on the course!

Someone just posted on this thread about how David wouldn’t make him a “minimally stamped” putter. Hmmm. This one seems to fit the bill.

BTW-this putter is so nice.

Was thinking the same thing, it barely says Mills on it. David is a weird guy week to week but man can he make a putter that is both art and performance.

Interesting as I didnt have any issues with him and stamping. I saw a putter just like this, with no stamping and asked for this. He was more than happy to oblige. Only thing, He only has normal size putter leather grips and I prefer a medium size. I'll probably reshaft this one just to preserve the original grip / shaft / sticker.

Give the standard size a try for a period.  I had the same issue of the using mid size I was used to but the leather grip mine came with is just like yours and it just seems to feel great and have putted well with it.

Agreed. The standard leather grip that came on my softtail is fantastic. I like the feel better than the leather gripmasters I have on my Lajosi (midsize) and Mack Made (paddle).

How do you get contacted back? I sent email inquiring about pricing on a build and never received a call or email.

Send a follow up email. Make sure you send it to both emails on the site.

I filled out the inquiry on the website about 2 weeks ago. Received an emailed quote the next day stating project would take roughly 3 weeks after payment is submitted.  I accepted quote and asked him how he wanted me to provide payment. I received an email asking me to detail what I was looking to have done (head, finish, loft, lie, length, general idea of stamping, etc). I provided all the details and was told he would look things over and call me to finalize details.  Have had 2 email exchanges since.  One from him asking if a site circle would work instead of a site dot  and one from me asking if a Torch finish was extra (it is not).  I’m waiting on a call to finalize details and provide payment. Hoping my time in line comes up soon to get the project going.

Not sure if others experiences were the same as mine.  Figure I will check back later this week if I have not heard anything.

I’m thinking about potentially picking up a softail. Curious about the difference between the regular and the wide flange. Anybody have any they can measure the width of? Would be great to get an idea of the difference between the two and also compare to some putters i have for reference. Thanks!

1/16 wider, feel a little different but similar.

So my Trad II is 1.5" from front to back which is bigger than most traditional Anser heads and it's definitely noticeable. How much bigger I should check but it isn't much. But to the right person I'm sure it could make or break the look at address.

Is this the XL version? That’s pretty wide for a blade. Any pics?

No it's the regular Trad according to David himself. I don't think I have pics of it next to another Anser style.

It's not massive but just looks good to my eyes.

This is the only TP Mills putter I have in my collection at present.  I have had several, including one made for the PGA Tour that Jay Green had in the tour putter bag at the Wells Fargo tournament in 2012.  This is one of the very first Heritage putters that was made.  I toured David Mills' shop back in the late winter of 2008 and saw the prototype on the work bench.  I ordered one and he told me if I could come up with a name he liked he would name the putter with it.  I suggested Heritage and so it was to be.  This is my backup putter and may never see the green of the course again (as my primary putter is performing so well after 6 years).  That said this putter is also sentimental to me so it will not leave my collection.

...honestly, I bought it this way a few years ago and upgraded the shaft to kind of match the splotches in the finish. Probably leave as is for the unique 1of1 factor lol 😆
