After looking for forever, I finally found an old beat up fleetwood on the bay. It’s in David’s hands now. Can’t wait to get it back.

Yes! Very similar head.

A squared off mid mallet in my opinion

The Fleetwood was designed and made before the Matera so if there was any copying done it was not on the Mills front.

I really like how it sets up . Low, flat profile.

David’s been really busy this year, this one was 5 months but he may be slowing down now. Past build time was 1 to 2 months

Not sure what David calls it, but it's a beautiful example of what I thought was called "fly-cut" milling or "fly-mill".  I asked David for "fly-cut" about 3-4 years ago on this Flat-T (pictured), and you can see what came back....

 

@oneaugusta's Dalehead is great.  Does he still call these "Traditions"?  I'm so glad to see Mills still putting out great pieces.

This is a new model called Dale, it has a higher toe line and different dimensions than the tradition.  I would call it the best Anser version "IMO" I have owned and I have had both the 009 and DH89.

Thanks for the reply. Does a customer pay in full in advance, or pay a deposit in advance, or pay when the putter is ready to ship ?

I've purchased putters from Byron Morgan (1/2 payment due upon ordering, balance due when the putter is ready to ship) and Kari Lajosi (full payment due at time of order), but I've never purchased a putter from Mills.

Refinish just came back.

David’s work is amazing; look at that top line!!! 
He also sent a new head cover. I’ve always liked the TP Mills Script. The new one is the black with red checkered script
