Look forward to seeing this in Niagara. Cherry Hill is a great course. I am working scoring for a couple of the days.

Let us know your times assigned, might know someone your scoring for.. Thanks for volunteering.. Could not do it without all the volunteers. And know there is a mom at home like me watching live scoring and stressing out each and every number you put in.. lol

I was reading some the mistakes earlier you mentioned at other events. Makes me a little nervous. I don't want to cause anyone stress like that.

I have orientation on the Wednesday. I am working 3 out of the 4 days. Once I find out my times. I will post them.

Mistakes happen, don't stress about it, it is not the norm. Our scorers in Ontario (I was there) didn't make any. It great you are helping out. :)

Sad to say I did not make it in the Tour Championship. Finished 66 on the order of merit and needed top 60...900 bucks short. Golf can be rough sometimes. Next up is prep for First Stage of Qualifying School.

Any questions for me on my season in canada? Ask away!

Hey Matt, been following and pulling for you!

Question for ya, what is your process at the end of a year for evaluating what needs to improve going into the next season? Do you and your coach sit down and discuss? Look at stats? Is there an overall assessment you make and if so, how do you arrive at that conclusion? Just curious to hear how someone at your level handles these things. Thanks and keep up the hard work!

Recently I've started taking more detailed putting stAts. Because going forward that's the key for me. If I have a tour average day ...losing and gaining 0 shots a round, I shot under par. The rounds I go lower are when I gain 1 or 2 shots. We've narrowed it down to putting. At the end of the year we also refocus the goals we had at the beginning of the year. How I did on them, what I accomplished, and then set new goals for the upcoming year.

My goals are simple. Improve putting by working hard at practice and knowing I prepared the best I could going into a tournament . Then on top of that mentally accepting outcomes and giving my 100 percent all on every shot. Because days my best will be a 74 or it could be a 62 , I will never know unless I give it my all the whole round

Matt...how does the Nike decision to leave the equipment business impact you? Will you continue to wear the apparel?

I will continue to wear apparel. I have extra balls, gloves and backup irons and wedges. So in the immediate future I am ok. I will be trying new balls. For example I got callaway balls sent to me. I will try them. Companies don't have room for developmental tour guys. So I will just get on the PGA tour to get some free clubs again.

Just finished reading this whole thread. You've got another friend here in Vancouver, BC if you ever need anything.

From reading your scoring reports, it seems your nickname should be clutch, or even double clutch. A lot of birdie birdie finishes to make the cut. Looking forward to following you here and on Twitter. Good luck as you prepare for your qualifying events.

For all you swing junkies out there I thought this might be of interest and I could not figure out any way to share this but to link Don's FB page, look for the 6:40 pm post yesterday with two small side by side swings..

https://www.facebook.com/don.parsons.77?fref=nf&pnref=story

Don worked with Matthew yesterday then posted it on his page, it got a good conversation going as well below the before and after as far as what their particular process is and Matthew's typical tendencies. Someone please let me know if you get to it alright.. Thanks

Matt, I have been following your thread here but I haven't posted until now. I wish you luck. Remember, you don't have to win over the next few days, you just have to qualify. Don't be the hero. If you play reasonably well, and don't compound your mistakes, you should be golden.

Hit 'em well bro.
