This is nice to hear. His little exposure last year gave me the impression that he was kind of an arrogant ******, so reading someone who has a first-hand experience with him share that he's actually quite pleasant is great to hear!

After watching the vid. I can see were he gets his self confidence after being told he was wrong and he would never make it, even by his father. DeChambeau had to rely on his own beliefs and skills in order to succeed.

Pioneers are usually jeered and called out for their originality. Bryson is one of those guys. He's changed the ideas of OEM's as an amateur, which is saying a lot. The fact that ALL the OEM's rolled out the red carpet for him to sign after the Masters doesn't happen to just anyone, and specifically one with his concepts.

 

Congrats to Cobra for signing him!

I've been a fan of BC since last year when i first saw him in the US Am. Now that i'm learning more about him i'm becoming an even bigger fan. Cobra has struck gold by landing him if that is indeed the case. He's got big time written all over him.

Weird and smart. Like weirdly smart. I think it's great. Don't just take what people tell you to do and how to do it. Make your own evaluations and do what you believe in. A true empiricist. Takes a lot of guts. Especially from such a young guy. I'm pulling for him.

Talked to him for a few minutes after US Open Qualifier last year, seemed like a very genuine and nice guy. Became a fan after that.
