The Ketsch mid is basically a mini mallet. At least it is compared to the regular Ketsch, which is huge

Is that a double bend shaft in the mallets? It would be interesting if there were going away from the stroke fittings and just installing the double bend shaft for a face balanced putter.

I'll throw a friendly update for anyone who's posed ?'s about these...

 

headcovers are magnetic... the milling on the face does create the variable thickness grooves, it's clearly noticeable in hand, the pictures don't do it justice... my guess these are 100% milled, atleast I believe they are because they are being made here in Phoenix and I know what they are going to ask for them... the mallet heads are aluminum (the plate on the bottom is the majority of the weight of the putter creating very high MOI) the others are 303ss... be patient, they will be released this summer... different 'stroke arc' offerings will be available, they've moved the shaft band right underneath the grip so your eye doesn't pick it up when looking down... I'd say the new grip had a 2.0 kind of sizing to give a point of reference...

I didn't ask about weight... but I'd assume the mallets would have options because the plates on the bottom can be changed, the others are just 303ss heads so maybe not...

I asked about CB, response was "it should be available", so maybe??? there was definitely no mention of a version of that new grip in a CB variant... my guess? any CB would be a special order proposition... maybe the old gray Ping CB grip would be choosen?

 

at any rate the release of the putters is not far away, we'll know answers to all this soon enough.

I'd guess just visual difference...they didn't do an Anser this time around, but they didn't want the Anser 2 to be the only blade, so they made something a little different to look down at with the Voss.
