SH Park given a warning for pace of play. Inkster asks are you sure she understood that(assuming because of her limited English). Fay replies, I think so. I don't see why the global nature of golf isn't 100% covered at "Open" events like this? I hope she did understand, can you imagine what SH Park could argue if she was to later be given a penalty or something like that? I don't understand why having interpreters on standby would he so hard or why i can't be said 100% she understood.

Henrik is a really nice guy too, so that tells you something. He does get a little heated on the course sometimes though.

So, Fay asks the observer and the observer says the caddie was told and its up to the players to know the rules. Yeah, she may know the rules but if she doesn't wholly understand what's happening. It'd be crazy to assume lydia or Ji can tell her since they are competitors and aren't neutral parties.

Does any body know if Ledbetter was there on the range friday morning.

 

Watched Lydia hit range balls and play 9 on Wednesday. She played the first 3 holes w/o ledbetter, and she hit every fairway and green. Her Downswing looked completely different than what she was doing on the range. Then David showed up and she switched to what they were working on, and she began hitting it everywhere. I know David was there on thursday morning and she played awful

It is a testament of Lydia's talent that she has withstood Leadbetter trying to ruin her swing.

 

He followed her around non stop at the ANA and it seemed to work out okay. The guy isn't the idiot people make him out to be.

 

I watched her, mom, and Leadbetter pretty closely at this year's Dinah Shore. My wife says I was stalking, and I was. To be that close to the world number one and listen in on their conversations on the putting green, and chipping area, and seeing what their we're working on on the range was just awesome.

 

I will tell you this - mom hovers. Leadbetter will tell Ko something, then she does it, or not, then mom is not afraid to step in and say something straight to her daughter whether or not the coach hears it, disagrees, or agrees with it. Lydia listens to both it seems. Leadbetter and mom were talking too while Lydia practiced.

Reading the above I can see you're really into timing movements and moving in general. Does "RBLM"stand for "Ready Bodies, Learning Minds'? I started reading about this and it's interesting.

 

Its just 4 letters.

Part of that is her not swinging out of her shoes. I'd say she's swinging 85 - 90% tops. The misses due to timing errors aren't as pronounced when one slows it down.

 

a full swing is around 80% effort normally.

You hit around 90% of your maximum distance that way.

 

 

 

She swings at full speed but her tempo is very slow

 

Slow is often a signum that the effort used isnt contradicted by contraction (change of direction) in the muscles while swinging.

 

However seems Lydia went down the hill the last round.

Lost 4 shots which isnt like her normal play.
