Does any body know if Ledbetter was there on the range friday morning.

Watched Lydia hit range balls and play 9 on Wednesday. She played the first 3 holes w/o ledbetter, and she hit every fairway and green. Her Downswing looked completely different than what she was doing on the range. Then David showed up and she switched to what they were working on, and she began hitting it everywhere. I know David was there on thursday morning and she played awful

It is a testament of Lydia's talent that she has withstood Leadbetter trying to ruin her swing.

He followed her around non stop at the ANA and it seemed to work out okay. The guy isn't the idiot people make him out to be.

he is not a very good anncr...he's brought the other anncrs down...the last 2 days they were having fun, keeping it interesting, at least...buck just doesn't have any qualities that make you tune in to hear him...when they do a group shot and they're talking about the golf, buck looks away from the talkers, looks into the camera, and does his 'look how warm and friendly i am' smile...ghastly...he does not have a golf voice...lacks knowledge...states the obvious...adds nothing...

the visual coverage has been great...

he does sound like he wished he was someplace else...and now twice fox has had an out of focus pic of the course, with a tiny graphis in the corner...then no graphic and we're stuck looking at an out of focus pic, lol...

it's embarrassing for such an important event...and the anncrs arent very good at building suspense...you know who was the best? harry carey doing cubs games! he had you on the edge of your seat every pitch! this us open has me on the edge of a nap...

Harry was an attraction by himself. Vin Scully is the standard for baseball in my opinion.

great action, but the anncrs are killing it...ko has got THE most amazing short game! and it's held up a long time...was listening to pga radio and somebody said you could go out to the short game area at 7am and see tiger....he was still there at 5pm! in his prime, of course...

so THAT'S what it takes! inspires me to actually get to work...but it's 100 outside...did hit gsmith for 100 balls, hitting off mats in the shade...testing drivers, as usual...

Don't think he his idiot, but some his theories could hurt or help players. The issue is he is saying she is using A-Swing, but in all reality she isn't using it at all.

Curious, if Leadbetter is so bad for Ko why doesn't she just dump him?

She certainly hasn't picked up a yard of distance off the tee, as she's basically averaging the same as she did pre-DL. Learning to work the ball right to left has been an improvement, though.

The answer to the earlier question was year DL was with her warning up Friday morning. Seems to me she is doing quite well with him.

Well we don't know. Thursday, she shot +1 (tough conditions, but she wasn't hitting well at all) and then Friday she played perfect, but no has answered whether LD was there or not. I have not been able to watch, been working in shop everyday this week besides the days I got to go watch.

Lydia in interviews reminds me of Lorena. Same big picture vision. Same surrender of things out of their control. Same personification of what they actually can control.

I think Lydia's success comes NOT from an intense desire to compete and win, a la Tiger . Rather , she just wants to go out and play the greatest golf that she can.

With wind and dry conditions, the course is holding up quite well. 'Still has plenty of teeth if one is not in the fairway.

I miss Konica minolta slow mo swing analysis.

Sung Hyun Park is already a super star. What a swing.

That side by side comparison with Dustin Johnson was pretty amazing. She really gets after the ball.

Sorry, spell check on the phone got me. Yes, they showed him talking to her as she warmed up Friday morning before her round.

The one comment earlier cracks me up to be honest. Someone said she does A swing when he is watching and then goes to something else when he is not. I mean really? Number one in the world hires someone and is insecure enough to just give the appearance of listening?

Go to Kelvin Miyahira youtube page, he has video on it. She isn't a-swinging. It isn't the apperance of listening, it like Tiger did when he was Butch at the tail end and Haney all the way through. I am going listen to what you have to say and try what you want me to try. But I gunna do what I want at the end of the day. Tiger didn't do this with Butch in 1997-2001 nor did he do it with Foley in 2012-2013.

Lydia is a great player and her short game is what trumps everything else. If wasn't for great short game she would shot a million on Thursday, she grinded that round. So maybe whatever they were working on, work on friday and she played great.

In honesty, if it works, it works, don't change it. I like seeing good people play good

Lydia is a great player

Thats what people cant copy.

She has more timing in her movements now than before but she managed to keep her integrity and play within her capacity.

Most consistent player I seen out there even a tad better than Annika.

Knows the secret to the golf swing to own it.
300+ yards and 4% dispersion for unmatched accuracy

Reading the above I can see you're really into timing movements and moving in general. Does "RBLM"stand for "Ready Bodies, Learning Minds'? I started reading about this and it's interesting.

Part of that is her not swinging out of her shoes. I'd say she's swinging 85 - 90% tops. The misses due to timing errors aren't as pronounced when one slows it down.

She swings at full speed but her tempo is very slow
