When I refer to these being spikeless, my biggest concern is not being able to swap out spikes when you start losing traction. Ultimately once the shoes wears out you replace the shoe instead of spikes.

If you spend most of the time off concrete...I can't imagine you wearing these things out. I've had my pair for a few rounds and see almost no wear on the soles.

The rest of the shoe will get gross/wear out before the traction on Lunar Control Vapors and Flyknit Elites.

I sometimes walk from my car to the grass and still have no wear on either pair.

Again these aren't really all that comparable to other spikeless shoes. I was paranoid about the wear when I got mine and I've worn them for probably 2-3 dozen rounds and while the sharpest points at the end of the "spikes" have worn, it's reasonable wear and hasn't affected the traction of the shoes at all. At first I was so worried about it I would avoid paths whenever possible which is overkill and not really necessary at all.

In terms of comfort which was your other concern, I'll support the others here who have talked about how comfortable they are. I don't feel like I am taking off golf shoes at the end of a round they are that good. Undoubtedly the best overall golf shoe I have ever owned.

I feel like the rest of the shoe will be worn to the point you won't want to wear them anymore before the spikes noticeably wear out to the point they aren't effective anymore.

Well I just took my adidas 360 tour back to golf galaxy and walked out with two pair of LCV in wolf grey and max orange. Not my typical color option but no white in my size and did not carry black.

Any way the shoes are noticeably lower to the ground, softer, and much lighter weight. I think I'll be very happy with these

Has anyone had the opportunity to compare Nikes offerings to Adidas and can your provide your opinion? I had lc4s last year and purchased two pairs of Tour 360 Boost this year. I like the style of the shoe and it is comfortable until I get to about the 4th hole. Then my archs are sore and sometimes the shoe digs into my ankle. I don't remember ever having an issue with the lc4 so I'm contemplating going to the LCV. I just need to get over the fact that they don't have spikes. The LCV would be my first spikeless shoe.

Quite a few years back I got on an Adidas kick and had a few pairs of their shoes. The 360 LTD at the time was pretty good, but the model that was one notch down did the same to me. The heel cup killed my ankle and achilles area. Had two pair replaced under warranty and gave up after that. Went back to Nike and been there ever since.

I've always had Nike and will be going back. I'll never try anything else again! Shakey got me some adidas this year and boy was that a waste of money. I don't have a problem with the ankles, but the archs kill after like 4 holes and I don't walk!

Question on the Nike golf shoes "wide" fit. I've never ordered wide fit before but in trying on the LCV's, the box toe area is pretty tight. Will the wide version have a wider sole or just wider heel area?

Wider in the toe box. I have to always get wide in Nike golf.

Quick question, are the Nike AIR ZOOM 90's a good shoe to wear off the course? i.e. going to grab a bite to eat or something like that.

you mean to wear casually? No, i'd opt for something w/o spikes.

If you just came from playing 18 directly from the course then stopping by somewhere to get a quick bite to eat then that's a different case.

I wear both pairs of mine as shop shoes in my store. Perfect for that. Also will wear the white pair with jeans on occasion.

These were tempting, but Nike just sent a 20% off sale items, so it was an easy decision.

These are $129 at budget golf with 15% off with "BBQ" code. Comes out to a little cheaper than Nike.

So according to Nike rep on chat, the "wide" is for the ankle upper and not the toe box on the LCV's.

I thought we've all learned by now to not trust Nike chat reps anymore. This isn't true at all. I tried a 10 and 10W side by side and the toe box was definitely wider in the 10W. How would that even make sense for it not to be wider, that is the area of the foot where the width measurement comes from. I'm guessing this person has never seen or used a Brannock device.

I dont know! lol. He had to look it up.

I did find this on Nike website -

"Nike shoes are available in regular widths, and select Nike shoes are available in narrow, wide or extra-wide widths.

Narrow Nike shoes have less volume in the upper and use the same midsole and outsole as a regular width shoe. Nike's wide shoes have more volume in the upper and use the same midsole and outsole as a regular width shoe. Extra wide Nike shoes have more volume in the upper forefoot area and use a wider midsole and outsole than regular width shoes."
