Need New Grips

I would second this. Crosslines are my go-to grips and have been for quite a while now. They even have a cord option which is a little more expensive (then again all cord grips are) but worth it in my opinion

Lamkin UTX cord. They aren't too hard, and not too soft. They have cord, but just the perfect amount. And the blue looks great.

I really like the Golf Pride NDMC grips. The new NDMC Plus 4 grips are also really nice (I use them on my wedges) but not sure about them on all my irons. Seem to be great in all weather conditions too.

I'd go cross line cord. Lamkin even has some but 2 get 1 promos every once in a while

its humid as F where I live. I had the new decade multi compound but I found them too hard on my gloves. Switched up to the classic golf pride tour velvet and I havent had an issue since. Just keep them clean and they will stay tacky.

The new SuperStroke S-Tech grips are competitors to GP Tour Velvets. Nice grips, inexpensive, and just as good.

Lamkin guy here. But I have shied away from the Utx as they don't wear as well as the normal cords I like.

If you like softer grips and moisture management is an issue, then the Dri-tacs are for you. Best grips I've ever had (I play without a glove).

• Do you prefer cord, hybrid or no cord?
  
• Do you prefer lots of texture, little texture?
  
• Do you like club/ball feedback or do you want the grip to dampen that out as much as possible?
  
• Do you have wet weather requirements?
  
• Do you change or plan to change grips often or do you want a set of grips to last beyond a year?
  

 

I have my favorites but what you want from a grip may differ.

Here's what I would say about my requirements

 

- i'd prefer to not go with full cord but hybrid would be ok

- i don't care too much about feedback so that's not really a consideration

- wet weather is not as much as a problem as hot, humid weather is (i try to avoid playing in the rain :) )

- I don't change my grips out very often so i'd prefer something that will last a while

If you're thinking of going with Golf Pride Multicompound but don't want to pay $10 per grip, go on eBay and get some Sharpro grips. Much cheaper and every bit as good.

BestGrips!!!!!! I have used the MicroPerf for years. Yes, they are what you might call expensive but, they will outlast your clubs.
