Considering each hybrid cover, even with $20 off, is $25 each, monetarily it is a win. You've made your money back plus some in hybrid covers alone. Can give as gifts or sell what you don't want. Pretty easy concept really.

 

Fair point, if you're objective is to buy grab-bags as gifts...or...flip the items.

 

Maybe I'm looking at this too narrowly though...as in...I'm buying things that I'll actually use.

 

That is basically the premise of this whole deal. You are getting a random assortment of items for considerably less than you would pay if you chose them and bought them individually. It is the same idea as ShortPar4, Birch Box, etc. There is also a bit of the "thrill of the chase" involved. I don't think anybody actually expected to get a 6 pack of all matching items. It is not for everyone, but it's not like anybody dropped $500 on these either.

Here's my haul on a 6 piece. Not too shabby. Had my fingers crossed for 5w or 7w though. Got lucky on the driver and putter as green is my favorite color. As it stands, at $50 I'd roll those dice again.

Luckily, I got in on the GlobalGolf Puma deal a few weeks ago. Bought 3 outfits, which gives me ~5 total. More than enough golf outfits to last me years, so never been tempted to try SP4.
