is this driver worth buying sight unseen?

Been playing an Adams 9064LS for a number of years with a harrison saga shaft

I bought this driver sight unseen and this has been the best driver I have ever owned. My swing speed is around 100 mph and the Speeder stiff flex is perfect for me.. This driver is either tops or top 3 in every catogory that you would judge a driver. Add them all up and you have a great driver. I am passing my longest drives that I hit during the Summer. All this while i have been playing in the 60's temperature.

Speeder 569 or 661? Thx

Speeder 569. I found the Speeder 6.3 that was on the Jpx 850 driver a little stout. The 569 shaft is very stable. I can really go at it without worrying about snap hooks. My tempo is so much smoother with the 569 shaft also.

I didn't want to say anything but it's been in my bag now for 3 weeks and a few long days of 36+ holes on a couple golf trips. This driver is really that good. As you can see from my signature I have a driver HOing problem but right now this is my gamer and I'm trying not to look at anything else. Can't believe how many fairways im hitting for a driver that I'm hitting as far as any I've hit. I reshafted with an Ozik TP6HD as I didn't like the counterbalanced feel of the Fuji. Have the weights set in draw and fade not in the center track.

Bought mine almost sight unseen, after only a few swings of the demo at Golf Galaxy.

Playing around with shafts I already have for my JPX EZ. Right now my Graphite Designs Tour AD DI 6, with both weights forward in the center seems to be working for my swing.

Why not play the Fujikora Evo shaft it comes with? It's mint.

I've tried the stock Evo and not ruling it out but right now with my swing the AD DI seems to be working a bit better.

Head is on the heavier end so you could play it without the weights and be fine most likely and to my knowledge it will still be conforming. My buddy didn't like the silver "pad" that is there for face angle (like the one that was on the R1) so he removed it to lower the head weight. Fyi though, he is a club fitter/builder and he was able to remove it without any damage to the pad or head and could put it back on if he wants later. It doesn't just unscrew and come out though.

I just bought one of these drivers myself and still need to dial it in. Got it with the 757 x but didn't find it as stable as others have. Gonna try it with a Tour Issue Fuji Rombax 7Z08 playing at 44.5" and see how that works. Definitely a top 3 driver this year and a must hit imo.

Thx for the reply. Appreciate the info. I hit one yesterday at Galaxy and really liked it. Wasn't warmed up at all but hit it dead straight and I thought it felt awesome. Ordered one last night and can't wait to try it in the course. This thing is a dream come true for us tinkerers. When I get mine I will post the headweight as I haven't seen that anywhere.

Not sure if this came through but in another jpx 900 driver thread, a guy posted a picture of the head on a scale.

Dang I just bought the jpx 850 like 6 months ago, but this club sounds like it is an improvement. Must fight the temptation!

6 months is like 2 years on GolfWRX. You are due. Lol

I can tell you I'm longer with the 900 than my M2, but I think a large part of that is being able to dial the spin down substantially with the weights forward in the 900 (which of course I can't do with the M2, but I think you likely can with the M1)...

Longer with the 900? I thought the 850 was better for distance and 900 more forgiving? Wish someone could tell me one of these will be just as long as my M1. Although I love the distance gains with my M1, not loving the feel and heard the 900 feels awesome.

Definitely longer with the 900 driver. The adjustments really work. Then the forgiveness is top of the line. But my 850 was a fairway finder also.

Oh man... here we go again... again.

If it were a month ago, I would kick the beehive by saying that real golfers tell the difference between shafts with their hands and not their eyes.

However, in thinking things over for a month, there is a potentially really crude comeback that I have set myself up for...so I won't.

Sorry miz lovers, I hit the 917 and 900 side by side, preferred the d2 all day. Lower spin for me on the D2, way better sound and shape. its only my 2 cents, because the titleist had the whole world of shafts (I went with rogue 110 60x) and the mizuno only had the 569 in S. When I smashed the miz, spinning at 2125 , total 331y, but the direction was spraying everywhere. D2 was a consistent 2000s, and around 315-325y. Would pick better direction all day long.
