What buzz, 90% of the pages in the Callaway thread have nothing to do about the club and just a few arguing back and forth.

And yes you're right, from what I can gather, the new Epic is going to be dropped off at your door on a palette, by an 18 wheeler. the "high - low" slider is not recessed in a sunken channel, like the last model, so it looks like a screw-head or lock-washer sticking above the surface. That doesn't seem to be aerodynamic and also appears as if it can grab some turf on a bad swing. I'd find it hard to believe that the final design would be like that......

Does anybody know when this will be available for sale? My 3-wood got dented when traveling, and it's driving me crazy. I know the unveiling is next week, but there's often a lag period before the club becomes available (e.g., 917s unveiled in June, brought to market in October). If they do go on sale in the next two weeks, however, I'd wait.

Watching that review it seems the M1 is super-de-duper low spin, Rick averaged 1680 rpms of spin with the weight all the way back :o Yikes, will anyone be able to get the ball airborne? Oh wait this is golfwrx :D

 

I don't think one of his drives was north of 2000 spin.

 

 

2017 M1 440, 9.5* set to lowest (6.5*??), weight forward, HZRDUS T1100 = 2200 top spin grounders? LOL
