Google the Chris Eubank (SR) interview on the fight, pretty intersting perspective and he is very, very well spoken

If Conor lasts 12 rounds and loses by decision, that is a loss for FM. Floyd has to either KO or TKO him or he looks like the fool.

Conor has to bully him and always go forward, I hope it's a reall brawl too.

Does anybody know of a site that may stream pay-per-view events, possibly from an offshore location? My moral compass is flexible in regards to these things. Please and thank you.

Floyd Mayweather might be the most boring in-ring elite boxer of all time.

Don't know if I've ever seen a TKO victim sprint across the ring to show love to a winner that fast.

Impressive by Mayweather... I was wrong about Conor catching him early I guess, but gotta hand it to FM at 40 to win like he did. I'm sure Conor was way past his reserves but champions know how to win and that's what FM did. Either way they'll probably be clanking champagne glasses in their banana hammocks tomorrow on some isolated island they just bought.

That TKO was 'scheduled' to happen in the first :30 of 12---McGregor blew up in 8; Mayweather Jr had little choice but to powder puff punch him into 10 where McGregor gassed out and Byrd kept him from falling through the ropes.

At least that's the word on the street....

Not saying I buy it, but I'm not dismissing it either.

This "fight" was all about the show from the start. In the first :30 of the fight, it was obvious Conor had NO boxing defense. Could have been Floyd's gameplan to let him punch himself out, but it was pretty plain to see Floyd could take him out anytime he wanted. But a quick KO makes nobody money on the back end. Floyd wasn't going to let it go to the cards, that wouldn't look good on his record. But the longer it goes, the more heroic Conor looks. Floyd just couldn't realistically carry him any farther than he did.

Again, not 100% buying that the fight was worked, but that was my first thought, and a very real possibility before the opening bell.

Connor's power did not translate over. I know it's Floyd, but his punches did not look like they had much of any power behind them. Floyd's were fast and crisp. Connor gassed...if he's able to keep up his pace, it may have been a close fight...I could see giving rds 1, 2, maybe 3 to Connor.

IMO more of a farce for MMA fans as we did not get to see Connor fighting for championships in the UFC, he's in his prime and we've essentially lost two years of it. And now this fight. Ugh, how long before he gets back in the cage? Too damn long IMO! I do not want to see him box in a ring, its boring.

It's boring when he does it. Luckily when Floyd decided to start the fight it wasn't anymore.

Compared to Connor's fights in the cage = boring. I don't want to see a guy with this level of talent fight in the ring, he should be in the cage where he can display his weapons. yeah he did ok, but he has no business being in the ring. He would be an average to above average boxer if he gave it a real go. I don't want to see Usain Bolt run a friggin marathon.

It was clear that after letting CM throw whatever he had at him, FM had zero fear of CMs "power" or any of his boxing ability after the very first round. You could see him move right into a comfort zone, fighting rom his guard and moving in methodically knowing CM couldnt hurt him.

CM got off easy, FM, had he been inclined to, could have toyed with him until CM fell on his face or he could tee off even harder on him.

CM did as well as he could and got one hell of a pay day.

FM must be pretty happy making 100MM or whatever he made to fight a guy who wasnt as good a boxer as his sparring partners.

The fight was not close, even for one second. CM won a round (or three) because FM was rope-a-doping him for three rounds (in typical FM style). CM looked decent for a round (or three) because FM's strategy allowed him to look decent. As the fight went on, FM realized CM could not hurt him, and was walking into CM's guard at-will in the last few rounds.

CM was clearly outmatched, it was a boxer vs an amateur. It would be like a golf match, TW vs a top athlete who picked up golf a year ago (eg. Usain Bolt maybe). Yes, TW is hurt a bit, he's 40+ years old, but he has been playing golf for almost his entire life. Usain MIGHT win a hole or two, but TW would clearly prevail beyond a shadow of a doubt. That's how the fight went.
