Vice tour

Looking for some feedback about the vice tour golf ball. Trying to decided between these or the callaway diablo tour. I play on what i consider soft green. I am a mid flight ball hitter, and my driver swing speed is aroind 100mph. Trying to find a 3 piece ball not too soft or too hard.

Thanks for any advice

About the best I can describe it is "straight, straight, straight." Spins, some, not a ton, but it goes straight. Decent distance too. Did I mention it goes straight? :)

Have not tried the Vice but the Snell MTB and Oncore Elixr are excellent! I am going to play a few more rounds with both but one of them will replace my Pro V's. I am tired of paying $50 per box.
so do i.

Pro+ is the only Vice ball I have played - but I bought 5 dozen and love it. I've not see any noticeable loss in spin or distance vs what I was playing (ProV1x, Nike Rzn black)

I've really enjoyed hitting the e6 soft but have just under a dozen left of the Vice Tour......I may play it again this weekend.
can you compare the vice tour feeling on the putter versus something like the q star, e6, nxt, even chrome soft to give me am idea?

Anyone else?

I bought a few dozen (Vice Pro Neon) for me and some friends and have been playing them in Northern Virginia for the last 2 months or so, and what everyone has said is on the money. Great ball when it comes to feel and distance, really can't see a difference off of the driver...3 wood...2h...or UDI when it comes to getting off the tee to hit my distances. Penetrating ball flight with every club. I will say that it does spin significantly less than a ProV1... TP5x ect around the greens... especially on low checking wedges but nothing that should deter you from giving it a shot. Another guy I play with has been gaming the Vice Pro Plus and really likes how it reacts around the greens through.

I have been playing around with a lot of different smaller ball manufactures as of late. (Snell...Vice...Cut...OnCore) and hopefully will get a review out soon.

thank you and appreciate the input. But im looking especially at the vice "tour", a 3piece ball similar to nxt. Before buying 5 dozen, i would have like to know the feedback on them.

It for me was just right not too soft & not too hard.......I'd probably compare it to feel with the nxt tour or q-star

Took the plunge. Bought a few dozen cause of the thing i read about it. Hate the feeling of a distance ball, and i play in quebec canada so the green are always really soft. I just dont see the need for a ball that spin a lot

Played a few holes with a chrome soft the other day and it spin too much for me. Something like nxt or q star is perfect in our condition. Will give a fair review of the vice tour when i get them.

With out spending big bucks on a ball that has a nice (soft) feel, recently have gamed the Q-Star. Really like this ball! Comes in yellow too. Nice feel and no bad spin around the greens for a 2 piecer. ;)

I play Callaway Chrome Soft. I found a Vice Tour on the second hole today (the 10th at my club as I started on 10 to avoid getting behind guys in the club championship) and put in play to try it out starting on the next hole, so I used it on 16 holes. I erroneously thought that it was a tour type ball (e.g. Pro V, Z Star etc) based on the name. It is not. It is more of a distance ball more like a Titleist Velocity with a softer feel) and not like a Pro V or the Chrome Soft. It was very long and straight off the tee. (about 10 yards longer than the Chrome Soft for me on tee shots), but it doesn't behave as well as the Chrome Soft on approach shots. It rolled out a lot so I had to land everything short of the green and run them up. Front pins were very tough with this ball. I almost aced my last hole (our 9th) a 186 yard par 3, (195 to a back pin) I hit a club I normally hit 165 yards. It landed in the front of the green and stopped about 15 inched short of the hole.

I visited the Vice website when I got home. I don't think I'll buy the Tour, but am interested in the Vice Pro Soft. Anyone have any experience with those and how they compare to the Chrome Soft?

Played my first round Tuesday with the Vice Tour and was pleased with the performance. Greens were really soft and the ball sat where it hit on every approach. Good distance off the tee too even though the course was soft. Glad I bought 5 doz!

Edit: Made a mistake on my original post about the Tour. It is the Pro that I played. Haven't tried the Tour and probably won't. Pro was recommended by the Vice ball selector. My bad.

The Vice ball selector picked the Tour for me. I bought a dozen of them and I'm not really a huge fan. Just a little too hard for my preference. I might try the pro's next

Did the same for me, and I had the exact same response when I tried it. Didn't like it one bit, for the same reason as you.

Vice Pro on the other hand was amazing.

Had to really look to find the Vice thread haha....

These balls are fantastic and I would definitely recommend them to anyone that has not tried them. I bought 5 boxes at the beginning of last summer for $150 and was thrilled with how they played. They don't get beat up really easily, unlike a ProV1 where if you clip a wedge it is going to get cut up by the grooves.

I will be doubling down on these this golf season. The personalization on them is great too, who doesn't like that.
