How long is it taking for folks to receive their credit? My clubs arrived to CPO on March 15th, but I have not received a credit yet.

 

Mine arrived 3/13 no credit as of today either.

Mine took several days to process, but nothing out of line. I would think you guys should have it done within the next week or so. I am sure they are getting a ton of trade-ins from this promotion, and they do need to process all of them.

Over time my CPO trade-ins have most often been processed in a week, give or take one day, from when they received the clubs. My two most recent ones took exactly two weeks and one day less than two weeks, respectively.

Been going through some clubs I want to trade in and disappointed to see they charge tax on new products now. I know this is something that has been increasing across online retailers, but they don't charge it on used clubs (via callawaypreowned) so kind of makes it an even bigger 'wtf.'

 

Are you sure CPO does not charge you sales tax now? CPO recently started charging me sales tax (maybe as of the New Year?), and Callaway charged me sales tax when I recently ordered a new Rogue Draw driver directly from them.

 

Went through the checkout process earlier today and wasn't charged tax on CPO. I called Callaway CS and the person I spoke to confirmed this. Maybe it's state-to-state on CPO and every state on new items.

 

Probably has to do with where the clubs are shipping from. I did not get charged tax on my CPO Epic order when I did the trade in. I believe if they have a warehouse in your state when you order then they have to charge you sales tax.

They received my trade-in on the 19th, no refund has hit my card yet. Not worried, I'm sure it will be there in a few days. They must be swamped with clubs coming in!

Trades went really slow after Black Friday and they also tend to go pretty slow after trade-in bonus week on CPO. Don't be surprised if it takes a week or two...

Update - just noticed on my Callaway rewards account i had pending points for the trade at 2 points per dollar. So it must be in process.

Anyone trade in +$350 worth of clubs? Reading the fine print I saw the $500 limit so I was trying to see if that meant after or before trade bonus. I used $350 worth of clubs as an example to see if they got the full $525 or just received $500

 

 

I already traded in $180 worth of clubs (or $270 after bonus) on a fairway wood, so I'm trying to figure out how much more I can trade in.

I’ve had mutual trade ins for well over $500. They seemed to have ignored this fine print. If you call their customer service, chances are they’ll waive this fine print, too.

$500 limit for the bonus. So you send in $1200 worth of clubs, you get $1700, not $1800.

I ordered on the 27th (10.5 w/ hzrdus Tour yellow stiff). Got an email earlier this week stating that it is still delayed due to the shaft I ordered and estimated ship date was April 6th.

 

Lead time was 1-2 weeks when I ordered. Now it's looking like at least 5.

And, they got my trade on Monday and just got the email that my trade was completed. Nice to have $975 back.

The order confirmation says

"Project X HZRDUS Yellow Tour 65 Graphite"

 

I really wasn't sure what the "Tour" note was. Wasn't expecting Handcrafted, but was hoping. I don't believe they had a HC Yellow option as an upcharge shaft when I ordered. Now they don't have this "Tour" option in the shaft selection screen, but they do have a Yellow HC.

 

I guess I'll see. Maybe it was just a typo. I don't think I'll end up keeping it, I already have a number of shafts that fit me well, just wanted to give this one a try.

I got the 50% bonus through a demo day. Took off the value right then and there. So I got a new rogue driver for $20, and got rid of a bunch of used wedges that definitely weren't going to gain in value.

Shout out to Callaway on their trade ins. They gave me full credit for my irons even though there was a small nick on the Pw. I was resigned to the fact that they were going to give me money for 4-9 but to my surprise I got the whole thing.

 

Took about 14 business days.
