I'm too mental to have 2 sets of gamers

My wife calls me a Golf Club Hoarder. Not to mention all of the drivers and wedges laying around. Believe it or not, I have only used 3 putters in my entire golf life.

I have 7 golf sets ,... and now, after owning them for 4 years , I can conclude this : Golf set is like having children.

 

1 child is too little

2 children is enough

3 children is getting too many

4 children and above, good luck maintaining them.

 

I quitely praised my friends who own only 1 golf set.

 

 

My mom was one of five kids; my granddad used to say that when you've got five children that's all you've got.

Couldn't part with my 1982 Palmer "the Standard" blades, they are still in the garage

 

But yesterday ordered a set of Rouge Pros with KBS Tour V 110s, haven't been comfortable with graphite, going to try some steel again now that the elbows seem to be much improved.

LoL, Yup a few too many.

 

I only recently got the XR OS, have only hit them off the Matts. Seem pretty good, have had the reg XR's previously, they are strong lofted and the ball travels a long way. I am going to wait till spring to decide what SGI set i'm going to keep. The Rsi1's are worth looking into as well. Kinda thinking it's going to be a close test between the Ping Gmax and the RSi1's just based off testing at the indoor/outdoor range. The Gmax are ugly as sin but so easy to hit.
