Has Lydia lost weight? I haven't seen her in a while and when she teed off I didn't recognise her. She looks a bit thinner and that makes her look a bit taller.

 

Saw her in person yesterday and she has lost a good bit of weight and has grown. I would guess she’s about 5’8” now.

Isn't she 20? I thought all her growing would of been done. Good on her for losing some weight. Leadbetter said her fitness wasn't great.

Reported in New Zealand Lydia has lost 10kg due to starting cardio work to improve her general fitness levels and will attempt later to work on her strength and gain some distance.

In all seriousness, the sudden height change could be impacting her swing and results. One of my sons went from 6'1" to 6'7" over a summer. Went from being extremely coordinated to a klutz like his father.

That’s what I was thinking. My first thought when I saw her was how much her body has changed in multiple ways and it has to have had an affect on her game. Not to mention she probably need all new equipment.

I had a 5 cm growth spurt when i was 20, having stopped growing for 3 years, so it is definitely possible. But is she taller? Does anyone have some facts on this? I would say she looks slightly taller, and that is not just the slimming effect (I think!).

Males are way more likely to grow at a later age than females, who do most of their growing at early ages.
