What's "the track"? lol. The wife's birthday was on Friday or I'd have driven down to Lethbrige with the boys. And then this bloody snow. Nature, you are one crazy mother...

That’s the new name for Boulder creek. New owners

Looking forward to seeing how improved the Track is. Prior ownership let that course go. 

Another week before my course opens, I hope. Really looking forward to this year and am sending out positive golf vibes to y'all.

I always enjoyed the layout, have to hit the ball fairly straight or you are in the drink. Really hated the shape the course was kept in, the bunkers in particular were extremely neglected. Pretty typical of Windmill IMHO. 

 

Hoping the new owners give it the TLC it deserves and I'm looking forward to getting out there this year.

Computer: Upper right corner, select your name, and then from the drop-down list select 'Account Settings'.  On screen change select 'Signature' in the list on the left-hand side.

Phone: Top of screen, select button with three horizonal lines. select 'Account', then 'Account Settings'.  Now click the 'Settings Area' and then 'Signature'

Playing Redtail on Friday, was really hoping to get a round in March in ... but April 2nd will do!  Looking back through scores, first round last year was May 7.

My first round was May 2nd last year, about a week after some of the courses were open.

May 3rd last year, and that was only at the Par-3 at Golfuture in Calgary. Hopefully playing on Friday!

I go back and forth on a 4h, driving iron and GW, depending on how awful I'm hitting it.

Have a time there on Sunday too, but we'll see if Friday satisfies the appetite or not.

Millwoods (heh), opens tomorrow. That's the only other one I've seen for sure. I called the Quarry last weekend and they said weather dependent but were hoping to open this weekend, not sure where that's at. I think the Bear is looking at Masters weekend still.

 

Have fun at the Ranch, the few pics of their greens I've seen look amazing! Seems year after year they're able to open earlier than most and with good conditions.

Breaking news. In about an hour the Ontario restrictions were revised to indicate courses and ranges can remain open with appropriate mitigation measures. Good news for sure but another example of total incompetence.

The track was alright for early year. I saw lots of peeps working on the course. I hope the new owners really do keep up with it.

Ice fishin season is over, went to the range yesterday here in Sylvan they finally opened a week ago, need some WD40. Two courses in town are now open my home course - Sylvan G&CC still has snow to clear off 2 greens, bunkers & T-Box's, they hope to open on April 10th weather permitting. Still haven't seen the Easter Bunny nor any Robins yet. You guys down south are lucky, hope the good weather continues.

Well The Ranch in yeg is in great shape, the greens are unreal.
