Is it me or does the cavity of his matera look slightly deeper with the circle cavity larger compared to normal matera elites? Looks different in the back picture to me.

Finau's current setup includes PING's new G400 Max driver, G400 fairway wood and iBlade irons. Because the deal is for a minimum of 11 PING clubs, it's likely Finau will continue to use the same Piretti putter and Titleist Vokey wedges he's had in the bag.

Yup, Ping has relaxed the requirement to play their putter from the new staffer.

 

Makes me wonder why Matt Fitzpatrick has not been formally signed by PING if they have this new relaxed agreement on putter....

Matt has played a PING driver in quite sometime, had a quick stint g30 but mainly been bagging other brands. Said on NLU podcast he isnt really looking for an equipment sponsor

Finau and Charl Schwartzel use them every week. Others go in play every now and then.

He plays mostly PING clubs except his Yes! putter which he will not part with, and that was a deal breaker because in the past PING demanded their players to play PING putter. So now that the rule has changed, discussion can happen but then again it's perfectly fine without club sponsorship as well
