Will be doing some testing on this shaft this week.

Β

First few points that i'll make are;

Β

The shaft has Matte finish/feel to it like the original black/yellow HZRDUS its also more grey/matte silver than white

and the butt end isn't like the EF black/Blue its .600 and pretty parallel for the grip section, so no need to mess around with bottom hadn grip tape to get it to feel right.

Β

Freq wise it comes out quite a bit softer than the HZRDUS T1100 but about the same as the Evenflow black

Balance wise it is about 1-1.5 points heavier swingweight balance than EF Black. has to be due to the smaller butt end

Β

will get to hit it tomorrow

Didn't really have a chance to give it a good go yesterday, but first impression is that it feels fairly stiff, not as smooth as the other Evenflow shafts but not as harsh as the HZRDUS T1100, I tipped it 1/2" just like I have tipped the HZRDUS T1100 in the past.

Β

will be able to give it a go on course tomorrow and post a review then

Played 9 holes with it tonight in a pretty stiff wind and here is my review;

Β

From a build/spec standpoint: the shaft isn’t counterbalanced like the HZRDUS T1100 it builds to about 1-1.5 points heavier than Even Flow black so more inline with HZRDUS Black. The butt end is .600” parallel like the HZRDUS line so no need to build up the bottom hand like the EF black and blues. It freq out quite a bit softer than the HZRDUS T1100 but still plays fairly firm feeling

Β

Feel: not as smooth as I expected with the Even Flow name but nowhere close to the demanding feel of the HZRDUS T1100

Β

Flight: seemed to be a touch lower than the EF Black I have used and a little less left prone with the stiffer tip section.

Β

Overall I’d say this is more like the HZRDUS line than the Evenflow line. It’s like a T1100 infused HZRDUS Black. (Not counterbalanced, low flight and .600 butt diameter)

Β

I’ll try and get some trackman numbers next week when I have time but let me know if you have any questions.

Β

Ive hit the blue pro and the white pro and disliked both, the blue felt loose and the white felt like it just unloaded too early. Both I felt like the butt end was too stiff compared to the mid sections. Tough to compare flight as I really disliked the feel of them. Haven’t given the orange a shot yet but don’t have any plans to.

Β

Again tough comparison because the feel of the rogue to me is so brittle feeling and it’s super counterbalanced. Flight wise I’d say this is a bit lower and easier to load compared to the rogue 125. Feel is much smoother than the rogue 125 but not as smooth as Atmos Black 7x I have that’s tipped 1”

3 more rounds under my belt with this in the bag and I am very impressed. very very stable but not too demanding like the HZRDUS T1100. Weight feels great and like the non counterbalance of it. hitting some great drives with it and haven't seen anything with too much spin on it.

Β

Don, any chance of a 95g version for a fairway wood?
