Curious how you guys react to these overloaded monsters on the course. As an architect, they usually cost me a couple os shots on the next hole- gag reflex.

 

 

 

Oogle them and stare, pretend I'll own one. Bonus point in the summer if there is a pool and people in it, make them Uncomfy by staring. Stonewall has a lot of houses like that, last summer got a couple modelo's from people chillin in their pool while I waited .for the hole to clear in my cart, that was tight. Some of those outdoor spreads are so sick

The issue is more of visual intrusion on the golf course but I guess the owners paid the premium for it. And financially support the course so that us people can play.

Just wish they were not Frankenmansions.

You should be able to get to Blue Mash within 30 mins traveling mostly west but also a tad south I guess. Or if you want closer try timbers at Troy or compass pointe.

i find the pgatour website infuriating. why cannot i not easily look up strokes gained information for a specific player from a recent tournament? you can find it if you go to a specific tournament, click on the player, and select full leaderboard

but you cannot access the leaderboard, which contains that link, to the honda classic from last week. so so so annoying. it's just a mega cumbersome annoying website that i always have a challenge with

2MT I’m trying to be a bit more analytical and that’s one thing I noticed. What I’m gonna do is pull that data in to a database each week. Then I can compare updates and back calculate their recent numbers. Trying to do that step before tomorrow so I can have the data for the Arnold Palmer before the Players starts.

Something like 180 people missed the cut in our pool last week including all but 3 of the people ahead of me in the pool. So all was not lost. Its hard trying to pick someone in a pool that you think almost no one else will - thats also playing well.

i think fantasy national and some of the other pay sites do that. for my 400$ total worth of pools that are a complete guess i'm not signing up for those sites. when i convince mrs 2more that me setting a 100$ a week golf betting limit is appropriate maybe...

 

i'm so disappointed about JT last week. for me it was kinda JT last week or Rory this week. i guessed wrong. the only thing about passing on rory this week is when he starts winning ... he keeps winning. it's not like other guys where you have to see them trending toward that win and hop on at the right time.

I talked to City about scraping stat data off the PGA Tour website at one point years ago. I don't know if they've changed it since then or I'm less stupid now, but it's actually relatively easy to access the raw data.

The key to never having house troubles at Whiskey Creek is to just hit a nice weak 200 yard fade off the tee. Last time I played, sucker PQ bombed it down the middle and had to play his second off the platform the house is on. Me? I laughed and comfortably hit my 4th shot in the green.

Nope - single family house. Public Rees Jones Course and top rated in Atlanta
