I don't see any weaknesses in Brooks' game whatsoever.

Paulina is his weakness.

That's the only thing left to take away from Johnson, lol...Although something tells me El Tigre already claimed that, lol...

Koepka, finally a non-major win to make his resumé a bit less ridiculous!

Ridiculous? Lol...ok...

barring serious injury or a bad marriage Brooks Koepka is poised to become one of the best--if not the best--player of his generation..

I said exactly the same thing about Tiger Woods 20 years ago..

What a loser this Koepka dude. All he does is win majors. Not good enough!

Of course, 99 percent of tour pro's would take it and no more wins if you told them that's what they would do. But not good enough for people here! Koepka isn't even done yet. If anything, he should win more regular events from here on out just by sheer possibility. Although I'm sure he wouldn't mind mostly winning majors either.

Still hasn't won a non-major on US soil lol

He won the Waste Management in 2015.

Only at WRX will people criticize a player for winning more majors than regular tour events.

Right, because everyone remember who won the 1997 Phoenix Open, lol.......Ridiculous!

I seem to recall the same being said about 21YOS, Mcilroy, JT etc. A lot can happen in golf - let's see what happens in 10 years time if becomes the heir apparent as the 3rd GOAT.

That is true, but for me at least, Koepka's head is better than the others that are considering themselves heir apparent. Should be a good 2019 season though!

Great win for BK, very very impressive. He didn't look that great on the front 9 but put the foot down on the back 9 and that was that.

Not sure that I can see him being number one for a huge amount of time. He has been really good this year but then so was Jordan Spieth in 2015, Jason Day in 15-16, DJ in 16-17 and JT in 17-18. Happy to be proven wrong but I one of those other guys, or someone entirely different will be on top in 2019.

BK is DJ with head screwed on straight doing what is expected given his level of talent. BK is what the press has been goading about in DJ.

I just think BK is DJ with more of a closer's mentality and putting confidence. Statistically BK isn't a great putter but when putts need to be made in good spots he always putts good rolls with perfect speeds. In contrast last years US Open when DJ looked like he was going to boat race the field then goes out with 38 putts on Saturday. Not to mention 18 at Chambers Bay.

People saying Koepka is a better version of DJ is such a joke. Pump the brakes people.

Why? DJ would trade his career with Brooks in an hearthbeat.

While commenting on the comparison I was speaking as to why Koepka is currently #1 while DJ is not. I agree DJ is the more accomplished golfer but Brooks is #1 and I bet by the time he gets to DJs current age he's likely to have a better resume 12-15 wins, 3-5 majors.

I watched the back 9 live in round 4. Just have to say BK was incredible.

Woodland was applying pressure until his bogey on 17.

With the pressure on, BK was swinging the club like he was playing on a Saturday morning. Same aggressive drives, full follow through on his iron approach shots, full commitment on each swing.

You typically see the opposite from other guys in the lead. Where they tense up, play too conservative, etc..

BK has it all on the back nine: Long putts, long chip ins, long drives in the fairway

No he doesn't, you can't properly assess until they are towards the end of the career its too difficult to compare at the moment.

PGA Tour: DJ 19 wins $56M+ in 241 events, Brooks has only played 105 events.

I'd definitely take DJ's longevity over Brooks couple of good seasons. If he keeps up at the pace he has been that changes things dramatically but as this stage, DJ's record whilst lighter on major wins is far better in every other aspect.

What? 3 majors is not a better resumee? Who cares about the Canadian Open...

Come on, a US Open and 5 WGCs is a more accurate picture to infer that DJ is just a Canadian Open champ is unfair. Of course 3 majors > 1 major but its not that simple.

I understand your point but at the end people will remember Majors because it’s the only thing that matters in golf, it’s the number that stays with you.

So right now it BK 3, DJ 1.
