Rory and Tommy are my favorites. Rory for how much he gets out of his frame, and Tommy for his hair and what I see as great rotation and torque. That hip turn and side bend at impact is pretty sweet.

Rory just doesn't seem to swing his left hip out as much at impact. I don't know if it's due to height, swing, habits etc. Yet it still obviously works very well. Especially for driver swing of course since it's longer relative to his body. The way that these guys sling the club through impact is pretty crazy.

Oosty for me, no one comes close.

Rory, Rose, Scott.. all have very mechanically tight/tense looking moves compared to Louis.

For some reason I enjoy Snedeker and Duffner's moves, too. Just no nonsense in a current time when swings are over-studied and overthought.

I would start by refrencing 2018 ball striking ranking. Then pick out the guys with the history of success on tour because some may argue that some swings dont stand up under pressure. Then maybe add some personal bias.

Who’s swing would I want? The one that doesnt wear your body out, lasts into your 70s and offers distance and accuracy. This really narrows down the Population to a few. I think of Sam Snead. Phil has avoided injury quite well, hes long, but hes pretty wild.

I don't think so. He seems to often take what looks like a 3/4 backswing and then just pounds the irons. Nice push draw. Wayne D. did a really good swing analysis some time back.
