Favorite Hybrids ?

I currently have TEE CBX 20 and 22. Really like them both. Also before that Ping G30 3 & 4 hybrid and they worked for me also.

I love experimenting and would love to try the Cobra F7.

The F7 fairway wood has a Rogue Black 70S in it, and I'm going to install a Kuro Kage 80S in the hybrid (the head should be delivered today!)

Had a ping a little while back... Nice, but occasional smother hook had it sitting on the sidelines. Mizuno CLK with Diamana thump 90X oh my god. I don't hit bad shots with it. Total confidence.

Try as I might, I always go back to the Callaway x2hot pro 20 and 23. I have the steel kbs hybrid shafts in them and cut to the length of the irons they replaced.

Yeah last year couldn’t get on with it just a hook machine for me with the short shaft

I’m gonna try and some up 100 posts here - lots of love for Adams, Cobra F7/F8 and the Ping G series. Haven’t seen much about TM M2/M4/M6. Is that about right?

Yep, Adams here too. I have total confidence in the XTD Pro 23*. I have a XTD Ti 16* and 20* coming in for testing against my gamer 3w and 5w....

Just an FYI ... tgw.com has the F8 hybrids on sale through tonight for $129.99. I took the leap and snagged a 4 & 5.

Man as much as I wanted to love the G410 I just couldnt. I'm in the minority where I dont need a flatter lie angle due to my height (6'3"). that hybrid just wanted to go right on me. I will definitely give the H1 a try. I like the G400 but want to test some others

Just put a Ping G410 19* hybrid in my bag, very impressed after 3 rounds.

Ping G400 for me. Tried all sorts of hybrids and owned many, but G400 works best for me. On paper, G410 would was perfect, but in reality, didn’t work for me. Going up on eBay.

Currently have a 17 degree (2 iron replacement) Cobra F8 hybrid in the bag. I use it predominantly for the two longer par 3s but I change it out for my MP18 FLI-HI 3 iron.

 

The Cobra has a lovely sweet "dink" sound when struck flush. Trajectory is middling but easy enough to hit high cuts with it when required.

Due to the variable wind/weather conditions here the FLI-HI spends more time in the bag as it has a low penetrating flight and gives me more flexibility when hitting into the teeth on par 5s.

The 80g Smacwrap shaft in the Cobra is so good though compared to previous hybrid shafts. Decent club.

The g410 3 hybrid with kbs proto 95x has made me a complete believer in hybrids. I’m even thinking of adding the 4 to gap between the 3 hybrid and my 4 iron.
