It was actually Ironhead :smiley: I met him a couple of times. He was a friend of the owner of an engineering company I previously worked for. Just a really good guy. His son, who currently plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is a great guy as well.

Here’s the thing. Reed was angry. And I don’t think kids should be around angry adults like that.

 

Woods.. yeah, but he probably would’ve just said, “Ehhh.. F***......” and faded off. Rory, similar. But Reed.. I would not feel safe with any kid standing next to him as he did what he did.

 

Some here have stated they are perfectly fine with that. I think it’s an unacceptable example of anger that doesn’t do a young person any good at all to witness.

Im not arguing whats acceptable or not thats your own personal call, im simply pointing out the double standards. We all have bias so if a guy we like does it we make excuses (like you just did).

But naked streakers are acceptable for our youth to witness? Give me a break. Reed wasn't going to hurt anybody. It was a flawlessly executed act of frustration. It happens in life/sports every day. Baseball, basketball and football players act like spoiled brats all the time yet we teach our kids to worship athletes.

 

Tiger is such a double-standard. He's caught dropping f bombs every tournament and he never gets fined.

 

Stenson doesn't act like that anymore but that club flip over his shoulder was hilarious! He's a funny guy, def one of my favorite golfers. The Ice Man.
