The speed he has gained over the last couple of years is remarkable but only if he can find his ball. As of late it seems he has been even more inaccurate than normal. Almost like it has changed his swing dna a bit

It also didn't help Seve when he was missing putts he used to make esp. short 2-3ft and being injured reduced much of his ability to go low.

Nah, not enough Phil the Thrill. Needed something going in the US Open @Pebble to get fans there & on TV. If he lost the lead, then it would be news.

Winning reduced the pressure but increased time away from practice for all the interviews. Granted he doesn't practice as much due to RA and age.

Phil should either retire or only play () tournaments a year: Desert Classic, At&T, The Masters, The PGA, The Open, and a few events in the fall. I think next year Phil should just focus on the Champions Tour where courses are only about 7000 Yards and he can bomb the driver all day or he should just retire. Let's face it, Phil kind of sucks now.

Guess you'll have to blame Arnie for the way Phil acts and is. When a new pro arrives usually a vet will show him the ropes and how to behave.

Arnie was targeted and Phil listened. Games are basically the same go for broke and give the fans something to keep them coming back. Both had many US Open heartbreaks and innumerable thrilling shots successful and not. Winning more than not succeeding we still remember both.

Phil is in same league as this Arnie, not Mr. Palmer.

Plenty of "newish" posters here since the horrific WRX software format change seems to have brought out many "hot take artist" Skip Bayless/SAS type posters that do nothing but troll while exhibiting their lack of any golf knowledge.
