Yes, open face is almost always the cause of hooks. Face is too open to some reference point like target or path, and the brain reacts by closing it late.

I feel like if I keep the face facing the ball for a foot or I have a steep takeaway, but if I just take it back naturally I feel the shaft begins to turn and point back down the target line quicker but the backswing feels better and the club is over my shoulders and not really steep above my head....

Yes. Flipping at the bottom is a common reaction to the face being open early in transition. The same thing can cause cold tops, worm burners, and skulled bunker shots. You can get away with it with a driver since the ball is on a tee and the driver head is big

IMO, a hacker is someone who literally hacks it around the course and really doesn’t have any business being there because he’s so bad, meaning that he should be spending some more time on the range or at a smaller, easier course.

A duffer? Someone who plays better than a hacker.

A sandbagger? Someone deliberately misleading others into believing he’s not as good as he really is.

A Paddy? A delusional “bomber” who has untapped potential but is sadly just playing the wrong equipment.

I was out driving singles. last round. I was toe to toe with a club pro with the driver. I've been blessed with a large drive. With the distances I am hitting my SS must have improved by 3 - 4 MPH's. Im touching a 100 MPH's now....

Any one can be a single, if you don't count all your strokes and fluff your balls, gimmes with in the leather of a putter......... I play it legit.

I play with quite a few singles and scratch and maybe on a handful of occasions I get out driven..... I acknowledge there are true bombers out there but when I play I just don't see it. I'll hammer one out there 240-250 carry. The practicing of the driver is really paying off.

In fact going to the range again today. Driver and tee's and a two buckets of 110..... That's it, gotta keep honing the driver.

Hmmmm,,,,,,, well, the desktop and the phone versions do work a bit differently. I'm not sure WHAT category the iPad would fall into. LOL

But on my iMac desktop the delete key works "backwards". i.e. put the cursor BEHIND the text to be deleted and hit the delete key. Might that work on the iPad ?

240 Carry is what most of my buddies muster up. They’re typically not too far from the greens.

I’m not that much farther myself at 255, so, I’ve finally found someone with a worse short game than me. Much worse if you’re really good with that putter.

Sounds like its created a draft. Go to drafts and delete it.

You can delete all of your own text but once the quote is the only thing in the box then the delete button just closes the keyboard. But only sometimes

But it's interesting that if you delete the last thing in the box that it just closes down. I guess if that happens, yes, go to drafts, delete, and try again.

But post 100 seemed to be what he was talking about, where he accidentally(?) quoted 3 posts. Figured he could've deleted 2 of 'em.
