I thought that wasn't legal. I mentioned earlier that it looked like a nice member's course, and when they show the overhead views, it really looks like a nice club. Beautiful clubhouse, and 36 Ross holes. I'm sure it's expensive, but it looks fantastic.

It's legal. Using a drawing compass like BDC was in 2018 is illegal. USGA rules that Bryson DeChambeau can't use drawing compass on golf course

I like Bryson and he is a nice person based on the several times I've meet him, but that was ridiculous on his part. If you're on the course, you're to assume you're on camera. Especially, if in contention.

I will say this about the whole distance debate. If there is 1 or 2 guys hitting it consistently abnormally long, it's interesting and captivating. If there are 20 or more guys doing the same thing, absolutely boring to watch.

I remember watching an interview of him a few years back and he seemed super nice and intelligent. The whining and complaining 24/7 makes it hard to like him for me. I cannot imagine other tour pros enjoy playing with someone that acts like this. I sure don't and I'm a hacker...

I played with a guy a few months ago who reminds me of what I see with BD. Every shot he made there was a reaction, or he said something like "OMG!" and stood there in disbelief, or made some over the top antics like I would if someone hit my car in a parking lot. It was really hard to play with him. After only 3 holes me and the person I was playing with knew it was going to be a long round. I felt like telling him: "Dude shut up! I don't care if the last time you played this par 3 you got it within 10 feet and today it is in the bunker!"

And that is not taking into account the length of time needed to take each shot.... that I can tolerate.
