Best feeling/softest irons

I played Z765 for couple years, they are soft but on slightly more firm side.

 

I hit MP32 many many years ago, I will never forget the awesome feeling when you hit it flush, definitely better than Z765.

 

Been playing Gen4 0311P since last year, it feels softer than Z765 but not as good as MP32.  Went through some swing change and need something more compact and went to PXG fitting, the 0211ST feels so softer than P and very easy to hit for blade.  Mistakenly 🤑  I asked them to hand me the 0311ST to compare, it actually feels better/softer and perform better than 0211ST, remind me of MP32.  Ended up ordering it last week.

 

So my vote is PXG Gen4 0311ST.

Good Feel?  gonna be anyone of these with a shaft you like.  I grew up playing DG s300 and that is the feel I like.

I have limited experience compared to many here, but the softest and best feeling I've experienced are my current set, '19 Apex.

Past sets were 716 ap1, 712 ap2, steelhead XR, Adams xtd pro, mavrik pro, and some old golden bears.

The ap2 feel great (still have them), and the steelheads had a nice heavy thunk. The pro sets feel kinda light and effortless with a really good strike.

These Apex though are another level. Smooth, soft, thunk...

Didn’t read all 4 pages but Wilson Staff CB irons are very soft and come in lefty. I would say they are as soft or softer than my 2018 Apex MB irons. The Wilson and Apex are softest irons I have played which includes Miura 001, cb57, multiple Bridgestone irons, titleist, MacGregor MT pro, apex pro and Xforged and limited time with recent Srixon and Mizuno irons

Watched my club fitter adjust the lie angles on the Legacy's,302's and the Blueprints, the Blueprints took less effort to bend in my observation, he also confirmed they were the easiest to bend. WE were both very surprised.

The Miura’s or Mizuno 223’s. Mizuno irons available in LH always felt awful to me, never liked Mizuno until I hit the 223’s.

 

If you have the money, I’d say get Miura. The CB-801’s are the best irons I’ve ever hit. Had a smile on my face with every strike when I first tried them. They have a dense, powerful feeling that is still soft. Pure, butter, whatever you want to say. Mesmerizing, really.

Hi All, for whatever reason, this thread picked up some steam recently after a quiet period. I have given up on finding the “softest” iron. I’ve had or tried them all. Srixon, Miuras, Titleist, Ping, PXGs, etc but ultimately I’ve come to the realization that any high quality iron that is struck properly feels good. There are different nuances but all are pleasing in their own way. By all means, we can keep the thread going for others to gain from though. Thanks to everyone for your input.
