I personally would have loved to see just a baby blue CW without the pink.  Overall the CWs are not bad, but I am so burnt out on AM90s.  There's been a ton of CWs last year for their 30th anniversary of the AM90 and it seems like there's even more for the golf shoe variant.  Where's the AM1 and AM97?  Nike needs to give the AM90 a rest.

Will Nike only be releasing these 3 shoe models for each major? If so, they are really missing the boat on other models like the Jordan 4 or the 270. Even the adg3 would be awesome.

Wish the 270 would make a major appearance. Will be getting the Zits though, I think these look great. 90s are cool too, I just don't like the feel.

Finally had a chance to try on the VT2’s. Wow these things are pretty comfy. They don’t look like clown shoes as much in person as they do in some

photos. Still on the fence though and not sure if I will pull the trigger. For those of you who have gotten some rounds in with them, how you feeling about them?

3 rounds in and I LOVE the comfort of them over the Roshe Tours. I have yet to wear my canvas NRG, but the retail leathers are class.

AM1 has been around for 3 years and AM97 was last year. Since neither are in the catalog, I assume their run is at an end. AM90 has only had a golf variant for less than a year. Personally, I love them, and Nike can keep churning them out.

Further, the AM1 just like the 97s got all the special releases from their respective years. Have had plenty of variants and GRs

I really like those PGA AM90s...but would seem impossible to wear them on course and keeping them in good condition.

I've had a pair of AM 1Gs for a couple of years now, and recently got a pair of 90s, and there really isn't too much difference between the two in comfort and grip for me so far. I've only worn the 90s in the dry, but we have quite a hilly course and they handle it fine. 

 

My 1s are probably slightly more comfortable, but then I've played 50+ rounds in them so they are well broken in, and the 90s are getting better. I find I end up wearing the 90s for more than golf too, they even work in the pub 🙂

 

I'd say if you like the 1s you'll get on with the 90s just fine.

When speaking about the AM1, I meant the OG AM1, not that crap redesign with the tiny swoosh.  If it's just the OG AM1, it's a small handful and only limited releases.  I think the redesigned AM1 had 7-8 GR CWs and 2-3 limited edition. Also the AM97 had 3 GR CWs plus 5-6 special releases. Also some of the limited releases were next to impossible to get like the WM AM1s or the Masters AM97 (Obsidian version).  

 

AM90 already have 7-9 GRs (black, white, grey, pink/teal, lime green, infrared, south beach, green (might have been regional), grey/yellow (pictures have been released for a while, but haven't seen it in the wild)) and 3 special releases (alien, grind, and upcoming baby blue/pink), but we are only in May.  There's going to be many more releases coming for this year.  Also, not sure if you guys are sneaker heads, but last year, Nike was really pushing the 30th Anniversary of the AM90. It seemed like every week there was a new CW release.  The new AM model for 2020 was based of the AM90 called the AM2090.  Then there was the return of the AM III.  This was the AM90's original name.  They tried to make this version as true to the AM III as possible and released 8 CWs.  AM Day 2020 was predominantly AM90.  This is on top of all the other releases of AM packs that had AM90 as part of the pack.  This is what I meant by AM90 burnout.

For the original AM1, I was able to get WMO (money) along with all four major releases. It was tough to track down some, but worth it (comfort/looks) 97s were hurt by pandemic production like many other models and, overall, I feel they lag in interest behind the 90s and 1s.

on the sneaker front, there are tons of 90s but there are always a fair amount of AM1s as well  🤷🏻‍♂️

I agree on the comfort statement. I had to retire my original pair last spring. I’ll take better care of this pair.
