How many golf balls do you keep in your bag?

Walking 9 I carry 3, walking 18 I carry 4. 

New hard course, 6. Find anywhere from 0 - 10 when i play.

Depending on the time of year it varies. During normal season rounds two new sleeves and the one or two I played  from the previous round. New ball on 1 and new ball on 10. 
 

Out of season I can the same number, but the balls that survived the season.

2 or 3 new ones and 2 or 3 old ones. It is hard to lose a ball at my course. If I play somewhere else I will throw in a few more just in case.

I keep about 6 in my valuables pouch and about 15 in my ball pocket. I have no idea why I have so many. On a bad day I mean a real bad day I might lose 3 or 4. Most of the time I don't lose any.

When I was looping at Pebble and got a bag I couldn't change out that was loaded with pellets I'd take the driver cover and fill it and stick it on our rack by the cart barn walkingoff the first tee. If it had a sleeve I could get 50 Pinnacles in it, for real.

"I just don't want it to blow off, it's pretty windy once we get up to #6 green. We good.."

Usually 9. If there is a possibility of playing more than 18 holes, I may have as many as 12 in the bag.

I always start with 13 in the bag...  I grew up playing baseball and I guess being superstitious just carried over into golf.  Sometimes I come home with more sometimes less...

Well.......I have anywhere from 12-24 in full and partial sleeves of differing brands and construction.  Some two piece, some three piece ionomer, some Pro V1, Some TP5, Some Snell MTB-X.  Also 3-6 used ones from previous rounds for "water holes"  LOL.  I'll play whatever I'm in the mood for or the way I'm playing.  I'll give my son a sleeve to start with also (He's 19 and I'll give him a sleeve of TF D2's or sim).  He usually has 6-12 used balls in his bag.  Some rounds I'll lose 1, some I'll lose 6+ course dependent.  I'm a little OCD with worrying I'll run out of balls.  

 

If I'm on vacation in Florida and playing a course with a lot of water and gators about 3 dozen Wilson Ultra 500  LOL ($9.99/doz)🤷‍♂️

If I'm walking & carrying, I generally have 5-6 balls total. One is in play, one's in my pocket, so probably 4 in the bag. A few tees, and that's it ... lightens up the bag immensely.

 

If I'm riding .... probably a dozen or so, just because it's easy.

Admittedly, too many in my cart/pushcart bag probably 10-12.

 Carry bag is no more than 6.

I rarely lose balls, even though my regular track is a ball eater on windy days.

 I tend to find a lot of brands/models that I don't play, and I forget to take them out of the bag.

Lately its been Callaway Super Soft's that are strewn around the desert.

Roughly a dozen. And I usually just open the sleeves and dump them all in together. 
 

I’ve been meaning to stop that to use the same golf ball until it’s lost or too damaged. Just haven’t cared enough to do so.

3 designated TP5x practice balls with truvis patterns on them (I have a stencil).

 

2 memory balls for good luck (my hole in one Titleist Balata 100 from my line hole in one over 20 years ago.... LOL... and a brand new Titleist prestige I found in the woods a couple years back (it looked like it had been hit once ever and looked like it had just came outta the sleeve).

 

6 “in play” TP5x balls and generally a sleeve of standby balls in my glove compartment.
