50% trade in bonus for TM, Callaway, Cobra?

Has anyone been able to actually use a coupon code yet?

I called Callaway today and the 2 reps I talked to had no idea if the 50% bonus would be offered this year.  So much for consistent messaging 🙂

I got a 50% bonus coupon on Thursday with a code on it, haven't used it yet but looking forward to putting it to use.

Can you post what the trade in terms are?  Can you only trade in 1 club?  Multiple clubs? Which clubs are eligible for the bonus?

when I called, the rep said if buying a driver, I had to trade in 1 driver in order to get the bonus.  Trade in 1 FW to but at FW, etc.  He told me no mixing, like trading in a driver to buy a FW

 

makes no sense and hopefully the retailers improve on the offer.

Yeah if that's the case then I would just go to a place like 2nd swing or rockbottomgolf and trade in your stuff.

If you don’t like the answer you get, call again. I’ve had to do that in the past. Just be persistent and know the terms. You’ll get it.

I noticed 2nd swing and global golf seemed to be closer to Callaway as far as trade in value. I know rockbottom says they will match value of any other company plus 10%, but not sure if that applies to OEM websites.

Not sure if the code is specific to my account, but I’ve got a code for Rogue ST I will not be using if someone wants it.

depends on model. I've had RBG give me much more for PXG .

 

also 915 I traded in to RGB has same value as callaway. And RBG has 50% more on top.

I called them earlier today and the rep offered 2nd day air on some Apex irons. I asked about the trade in special he didn't think it was being offered. I don't think he know my 50 page history with Callaway and pre-owned since 2005....🤣

Callaway is definitely having a 50% trade in bonus.  Apparently each rep got a fixed number of codes to use for the promo.  Luckily my rep I use passed me along to another rep that still had a code to use.  My guess is if you called and the rep says they don't know about it it's because they're out of codes and don't want to lose a sale to someone else which makes it kind of dumb that Callaway restricts it to that degree.  There are also no restrictions on the trade in bonus.  You can trade in as many things as you want for any of the new Rogue clubs.

did you call in to Callaway to get this bonus?  Also, you are the first to post that they have you the trade in bonus on more than 1 club.

Yes, I called into Callaway.  No restrictions on how many items.  I traded a set of Apex irons, a Mavrik driver and a Rogue hybrid towards a Rogue ST driver and a 3 wood.

I was told no restriction on the number of items but you can only get the bonus on 1 item and others would be per the rate sheet.

 I guess we'll see.  My items added up to around $615 without the bonus.  Rep said with the bonus I'd be credited $922 on trade.  The driver and 3 wood came out to $966 after tax.

I used the Callaway trade in promo via phone. Initially, the guy said he wasn't sure if there were any left but then asked for my account info. Once he saw that I had bought a good amount of clubs from them, he "found" a code.

 

He said they each had been given 25 a couple months back. So, I think if you have history with Callaway, you can likely call in and get the 50% bonus. It made upgrading from the Epic Max to the new Rogue pretty cheap (not that its going to get me any more drives in the fairway).

I called today and talked to a rep that had a 50% bonus trade in code available.  It’s a 1 for 1 to get the bonus but an iron set counts as 1 item.
 

I traded 1 set of irons and a fairway wood, received 50% bonus on both items because I bought a Rogue Driver and Rogue fairway wood.

Talked to my club pro/GM and club is having a Callaway demo day for members, he mentioned they’ll be having the +50% bonus at event. Might be worth it to check if there are public ones around your area?
