Maybe they will let a few orders through and then shut off the discount, but not cancel the orders that went through.

Back to the OP question.  Anyone heard an update from Callaway?  I’m guessing  that if they’re going to offer the 50% bonus trade it should start next week with the official release of all the new stuff.

Just call em. I’d bet they’d give you a code. I used mine the other day. No limit. My $850 trade turned into uh, well, uh, math. So 1.5x that.

As the Judge noted, you might need to "work it" a bit for this one.  IMHO, Callaway should have done all or nothing on this, not this selective BS (for which I was not selected despite a ton of business with Callaway).  But I did work some channels and got a code, that I was careful in using as there is a lot of fine print with this promo, and I didn't want to get any rude surprises.

I have 24,000 rewards points with callaway and my entire bag is callaway....I didnt get a code.

i called them and asked, the Rep said they sent the code to people Who had done the trade in before and/or had purchased on Callaway not just CPO

I want the new Apex Pros and I’d probably pull the trigger with a 50% trade-in boost. I have a set of 2014 Apex MBs that I might part with. 
 

But, it’d be hard to unseat my 2013 X-forged. Every new iron that rolls out these days makes me love those even more. They are so pure and beautiful. 
 

I see 90% of the guys at my club with the TM p790s or the PXGs though, and those “foam-filled” heads give me the sense that they would be super soft and forgiving (and long).

Don’t get sucked in. I got rid of my ‘13 X forged irons and still regret it. Hang on to those puppies.

I called Callaway today.   I was told they “are not now and don’t know if they will offer the 50% this year, but it is being offered at demo days at green grass accounts.”  So we just need to go to a demo day.  Stupid approach and I would argue limiting it to those that can most afford buying without it as most green grass demos are at private clubs.  I don’t think Ely would approve.

How do you find these demo days?  There is one this Sat near me, but it is at a resort - how do you know if it is a green grass demo?

If it’s at a golf course then it’s a “green grass” demo.  Basically they’re cutting the retail golf stores out of the promo this year.
