F1 fans?

Even if he doesn't lose the seat, have to think all this will be affecting him and his focus.  Not sure what that means since he's already bringing up the rear, but Haas can't be expecting much out of him if they were originally thinking they'd have a better shot at competing with similar teams in 2022 vs 2021.

Now that’s interesting, I know they tested out the helmet cam last year too, if they get to a point it’s unobtrusive enough for the drivers maybe they could do team drivers view feeds too. Although not sure if that would have any impact on the teams and strategy if they could see a live feed of other teams drivers and the steering wheel screens, so they’d have figure out how to address that.

Is he now the highest paid driver. I realize it’s a different sport, but Aaron Rodgers is reportedly getting a 4 year $200 million dollar contract. Not bad for a 38yo QB.

And he isn't even the highest paid, though. And Max is 24. He also has a penthouse in Monaco. That's baller.

Mazepin was a paid driver and if reports from last year are true was a pain to the team as well as his father. When Haas dropped Urikali as a sponsor they were better off dropping Nikita too. They will be much better off with K-Mag who has history with the team and is a veteran driver. Unfortunately in F1 the best drivers don’t always get a seat and people with money (Mazepin) get brought in because of the sponsor money that comes along with them. Anyway I am pumped for the season!

I love seeing K-Mag back where he belongs with Haas having a real midfield shot. Everybody said having 2 rookies was a horrible idea, but both rookies came with money and Haas needs money. At least they are set for this season.

Yes and no. Usually all the lapped cars, not just the 5 between the leaders, but there was barely a lap to go.

I think so, better than a safety car train. Ideally they would have red flagged it, let everyone pit them restart with 5 laps. But hindsight is what it is.

Now that would have truly been a fair race to the finish. And considering what was on the line, what I would have loved to see happen. Oh well.

Nope, either they needed another lap to let the lapped down cars clear the train resulting in the race finishing under safety car, or the race resumes with the lappers in between Lewis and Max. Masi should be ashamed of himself and he was rightfully ousted for constructing an artificial finish.

This porpoising we've been seeing in testing looks pretty violent. Like those subconcussive hits that football lineman take end up causing CTE. Hope they can get this problem under control.

Looks like McLaren and Ferrari have it pretty dialed and Red Bull is close. Mercedes was the worst off. But Haas looked good, so that makes things interesting.

 

Seb is out with the Rona, so there is that, too.

Ferrari looked fast and so did Haas with the Ferrari PU. Tomorrow will be Ferrari vs Max for pole.

So I'm a few episodes into the new season of DTS. And for the sake of this comment, I'll ignore the hardest of hard core F1 fans. But DTS is just a damn enjoyable show to watch. I dont care if certain scenes may or may not be played up. Dont care. Between watching P1/2/3/Q/race every single week, I already know whats happened, I already know how the season ends.

Dont care. You put this show on a big screen in 4K with good sound, its shot well, its scored well - its just a damn entertaining show to watch.  And thats what it is - its entertainment, its a TV show. Love it.

Ferrari 1 and 3, Max barely split them. Tomorrow will be good. Ferrari 1/3 Red Bull 2/4, and Mercedes behind them both.
