Bad putters love putts just long enough that nobody expects you to make them, but not so long that 3 putting is likely.

I clearly missed her saying that when she walked half way to the hole and turned around, but it did appear she said it when she was off the green and speaking to Ally. You are correct though, I let it fly immediately after blowing a putt, sometimes twice.

Are they switching the last couple hours of the afternoon coverage to Peacock? YouTube tv only has 2.5 hrs of the afternoon coverage yesterday and today. This usually means the Peacock screw job is happening

On the 10th green....Austin drains a 15 ft putt...fist pump, "Let's Go"....blah blah blah and then DRAMA QUEEN Kang runs to the hole to retrieve the ball.

 

Hull steps up without hesitation and drains her 12 ft putt....no fist pump, no NONSENSE...basically giving the Yanks a silent FU.🤣

I would have appreciated it more if Hull turned to the gallery and flipped a BIG Bird with a slight smirk.😂

Kupcho missed a lot of makeable putts early, then found her stroke.  EU not striking the ball as well as yesterday and not making as many putts.  TV coverage is not good. It’s as if the director was not a golfer.  TV is improving as the day goes on.

I hope this Solheim Cup experience does great things for the career of Mina Harigae.  Had the enjoyable opportunity to watch her first pro victory at the Futures Tour event in Cedar Rapids, IA back in 2009!  (Had to go to Wikipedia to confirm the correct year, as that event was played 4 years consecutively, but did recall her actually winning.)

Just like most things, when you do it all the time it just feels forced and fake. Things like that should only happen organically after something spectacular happens.

Hopefully watching these "inexperienced rookies" wipe up out there, makes future captains realize experienced veterans aren't always the best choice especially when they really don't deserve a pick.

Was great in medinah with Bubba and the Poulter response cause it was new and everyone was surprised. After that not so much.

I think the point is to stir the crowds on the opening tee shot. Considering nothing spectacular has had a chance to happen yet they artificially create a frenzy to get the blood pumping.

It's not like they are asking for the crowd to cheer while their on the green or in the fairway.

I don’t understand why they would want the frenzy. Other sports at least thrive on adrenaline, where being or getting “pumped up” can up the level of performance. But I can’t see where that feel is going to help in golf where calm and even keel is desired.
