Yea, I'm on a couple of discussion boards and it very common to see posts that don't age well.

The cruelty that is so evident on the men's tour is leaking into this Solheim Cup thread.

The entire golf world is watching and all of these ladies, on both sides, are giving their all.  I can't imagine the pressure they must be feeling.

Some feel angry at their gladiators when they fail.   Others feel concern for them.

I’m fatigued from watching golfers walk up the fairway and stalking putts, but no shots. There’s golf going on. How about seeing some shots? And slow play? OMG.

Was D Kang lipping at one of the Europeans?  I know the announcers were sloughing it off as good natured talk, but she sure seemed to be animated.

 

As far as the rules thing yesterday, not sure why people think a rules official should "not insert themselves" into things.  A violation is a violation.  I also don't understand why Korda was "in tears."  Sagstrom, maybe, since she was the one who screwed up, but why Korda?  

 

US must not have thought Pedersen could make the putt because they should have conceded Hull's par putt to not give a read to EP.  

 

The "pumping up the crowd" stuff on the first tee this morning was nauseating.  Even the marshals waving their signs.....  grrr.

 A Rules Official is on site to make Rulings when asked by a player to do so. Missy White, the Official following the Korda match did not give Korda the chance to request a Ruling, So, later, Korda  was  put in the uncomfortable position of  having  to answer questions about a Ruling she did not request or endorse.

Sangstrom did nothing wrong. Korda did nothing wrong. Yesterday's controversy was caused by an incompetent Rules Official.

I'm slightly confused why "pumping up the crowd" bothers several people here.
