I love mine.  No issues at all... 

 

I don't understand why you keep going on in this thread.  You love your t100.  Good for you.  I had them, but prefer the 770.  Both are great clubs, but everyone likes what they like.  No biggie.

But it is. The current 770 was released in late 2020, and TM has been on 2-year cycles.

I believe the 770 was 2019, and 2021. So 2023 makes sense (which would be a fall 2022 release I think). Maybe someone can confirm. TM and their fitters won't leak the info unfortunately, as they are still trying to sell and complete prior orders. It will be tough for those paying full price right now and not receive them until close to when the new ones come out.

2017 for the first 770 - 2020 for the 2nd.  I had my current set for almost 2 years even tho I didn't start bagging them until about a year ago.

You are correct the 770's that look like the 790's came out late 2020

There's a thread in the tour/pre-release with some comments pointing to info Q3 with release early 2023. I can't comment on the reliability of the info though 🤷‍♂️

Bumping this.  A birdie has told me TM is revamping almost the entire P-series lineup.  Surely someone else can at least confirm the news?

Highly disagree on the P760. I had P770/P790 combo set. They just didn't do it for me. The P770 didn't feel that great and the P790 were much worse. Loved the look of the P770 though and settled on 22 Cobra Forged tecs which blew the 790/770 set out of the water on everything including feel. The Cobra are crazy soft.   I stopped by a golf shop out of town (I usually do just in case a deal pops up), and that day found a NOS set of P760's. They weren't only new but cheap.  Instantly bought them. Always wanted a set and after playing them, they are straight amazing. Will never sell them and take them out on the course once in a while. I most hate to say it, but I like them so much and most afraid to mess them up...  doubt I can find a set like this again. 

 

I can only hope TM makes something that feels and plays like these beauty's again...

They were a sleeper iron for sure.  I think a lot of people just didn't know what to do with them.  The traditionalists (i.e. your Mizuno/Titleist small CB/MB users) probably instantly wrote them off because of the speedfoam in the longer irons so they probably immediately thought "clicky and hot".  Your mid handicaps were likely turned off by the size thinking they needed something more forgiving ala 790.  The reality was, these were plenty soft (IMO they feel just as soft as the P7MC) and they were decently forgiving, similar to a JPX Forged or Srixon 7 series.  You still needed to make decent contact but they were not overly penal when mishit.

I saw them today in the store they just unboxed the heads along with the new MC's only noticeable difference is a touch shiny part similar to the latest P790. They look great though but was suprised to see them in store I didn't even know they were coming out. I can confirm though the stores do have them for sure!!

Satin like finish but the back side shape is certainly different than current 770/790s. I suspect they may feel better but if they are still 77mm wide and have the same top line I don't see how they will kick my current 770s out of the bag. TBH I think the current ones look smoother and cleaner, and I am not just saying that to spare my wallet 🙂

I would hope they thinned the top line a little. I can hope for reduced offset but I can dream. If it is thinner I could be putting these in the long iron spots. Didn’t vibe too much with the current version.
